I recently had their buffet on a Sunday, we went at 2:30PM and they told they will refill food till 3:00PM , but they didn’t infact we asked 3times they simply claimed they will soon refill but not , its highly disappointing that the food served had a steel thread, Its my first and last time at Kumars. Hope the Management takes care of these things related to hygiene

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The arrangements for the party were perfectly organized – the decorations were tasteful, and the seating setup was comfortable for both kids and adults.
The food was outstanding, with a variety of dishes that everyone loved. The flavors were fresh and delicious, and even the kids enjoyed the meals, which can be hard to achieve!
Overall, the restaurant exceeded our expectations. The friendly staff, great food, and seamless arrangements made the celebration stress-free and memorable. I highly recommend Kumar’s for any family gatherings or special occasions!”

This place has mediocre food for the $24.99 charged per person. The hygiene of the place needs significant improvement, the floor was sticky, plates had food debris, was a peculiar stale smell in the restaurant. Not a good experience overall. My family has been a patron of Kumar's in Austin but this location is disappointing.

Worst experience! Last night around midnight my husband ordered Mutton Thalapakattu biryani. While eating we found fly or bug in the biriyani. Please serve quality food. You don’t have to serve variety but atleast serve quality food.

I visited the Kumar’s for Sunday lunch buffet, and it was an excellent experience. Food was excellent the non-vegetarian curries had excellent flavor. Vegetarian options were plenty too. What I liked most was that there were over 70 items, and all of them were nothing less than a treat to one's taste buds. The chefs clearly take great care in their preparation, making every dish special. Additionally, the buffet included fresh idli, parotta, and live dosa stations, which added to the authentic experience.
The service was attentive, and the ambiance created a welcoming. This no doubt must rank among the best restaurants nearby, and for sure, I will be back for the delicious buffet!
