Yum!!! I feel like I’m late to the party with a visit to this restaurant but we will be back and be back often. I have been craving plantains for months. I did a google search and BOOM Lilly’s Cafe was in our part of town.
We arrived on a Saturday at 9 am ish. Parking is awful, it’s in a strip mall and there's a coffee shop next door. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was bright and clean with high ceilings, ample seating, several TVs and what appeared to be a fully stocked bar.
We ordered coffee and water. To our surprise they offered flavored creamer. BONUS!!! I selected the French toast platter with a side of PLANTAINS. My husband had the Haystack Signature offering with a side of black beans. There was so much food neither of us finished.
The only ding was the ladies restroom. The building is very old and while the restaurant received a makeover the bathrooms did not. A single women’s restroom with a coffee table for a “changing station” and non ADA compliance. The hallway, doorway and bathroom were all too small for a wheelchair. And they were out of TP.
Service was great and you can see they were working as a team. Menu was in English and Spanish. Food came out pretty fast and hot. Can’t wait to go back and try additional dishes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and meals. Dessert offerings look amazing, including PLANTAINS and Crêpes.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Noticed smiley faces on pancakes at the other table. Lots of space.

The food was amazing. Ludin was our server. Since we went in and he was very attentive and helpful. He did a great job. We ordered the elote tamales and ribeye skillet. Both were amazing. Coming back again soon

Excellent food and fantastic service. I highly recommend visiting this friendly cafe'. It has a warm, casual atmosphere and is very easy to sit and chat with your friends/family. It is not noisy at all. Give it a try; I am sure you will be glad that you did. BTW I highly recommend David's platter. It has a wonderful assortment of appetizers and is a great way to start your dinner.

First Time ever trying a Guatemalan type restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, a bit different which was fantastic.
I didn't even know this place was here, just accidentally drove by and stopped. I'm glad that I did and I will certainly go back and try it again!

Lily’s is a fantastic breakfast cafe. The atmosphere is clean bright and friendly. Our server Ludin was very friendly and made sure to recommend a great dish we hadn’t tried bf called garnachas.
