I was craving ceviche and this place was at the top of the list and it did not disappoint.
I got ceviche mixto and it was delicious, my husband got arroz con mariscos.
Cesar, our server was great too. Very polite and helpful. Will for sure come again!

Eliseo and the Lima Taverna team,

Fiestas Patrias at Lima Taverna was amazing! The atmosphere, live music, and food were incredible. The picarones were the best I've had! Your team's hospitality made it a truly memorable time. I'll be back soon and recommending Lima Taverna to everyone.

Blessings……

We came here on a Sunday night for some high-end Peruvian cooking. ¡Ay, qué rico! Some of the most tender lomo saltado and flavorful ceviche I’ve ever had. Cocktails like the pisco sour and chicha sour are also delicious here. The atmosphere was comforting, delightful, and upscale — perfect for a date night for two. The owner Eliseo and our waiter César welcomed us in, took very good care of us, and seemed to really take pride in their cuisine and restaurant. They even gave us a free dessert made with corn starch and dulce de leche. The experience overall was A+++ and I strongly recommend.

Order aji de gallina and chicharrones. Didn't like both. Price-to-quality ratio is disappointing.

Food was good but truly the service and vibe of the place is amazing. Our server was so sweet and the owner also came over a few times to speak to us. Highly recommend for a good time with your family and friends.

Went here for Valentine's Day when they had a special menu with only 3 course meals. Asked the waitress if we could only order parts of it without being charged for the full price and she said yes, only to bring us a bill that had us pay for 6 courses.
We only ordered 3.
The manager refused to compensate us, or just charge us for the price's of the normal menu.
Expected to pay 60 bucks and ended up paying closer to 140. Very disappointing, will not be returning.

It was not just the food, it’s the energy. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. Then Eliseo, the owner of the restaurant showed up with another big smile welcoming us. We felt at home immediately. Our server, César, arrived to offer wine options. We were pleased with our choice. We started our meal with an ‘Empanada’. The main dishes were deliciously ‘Chef’s Kiss’. The portions were on point and the presentation was appealing to the appetite. This place has an ambiance and to top it off there was live music to dance. We went to Lima Taverna in the recommendation from a friend. And now, we are highly recommending this restaurant to you. It’s the best of Lima Perú. We were also inspired by the slideshow pictures displayed. Now my husband and I are planning to visit Lima.
Thanks for a delightful experience.
Cheers 🥂

There was a strong odor potentially due to bad or clogged up drain, the moths were on my husband's face and the food, how I know about them? As a food cost specialist I have seen old food manufacturing plants or poor hygiene restaurants with this problem. I couldn't stand knowing what the flies were, I got a headache and some asthma symptoms right away. The food was way too sour, Peruvian food is like that, and to my taste the food was greasy and sloppily made, not worth the price. I will definitely look into the city's sanitary reports for this place.
