I will let anyone that really knows the peruvian cuisine to judge the foods flavor and quality at this place; but in my experience the menu offered is well overpriced besides that not 10 or 15 or 18 gratuity but 22% on top of the bill. A family of three 252.59 bill with 22% gratuity included. 1 Lomo Saltado 1 ceviche carretillero, 1 Parrillada, 2 causas limeñas, 1 Jalea de pescado, 1 plato de picarones . The ration serve on each meal, small even for a normal eater.
Service was good though. I will leave this review up to each reader . May be this place will realize that overcharging their customers for a meal is not the best business approach.

The dishes looks good but the taste is far from the authentic Peruvian food. We are a family of 3 and we were over charged for the prices with the quality of food that they serve. The server was not very attentive with our table we didn’t even got the silverware for 2 more guests that came later to join us, neither was water offered to them. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the food and the over priced ticket. Just be very cautious to check your reciept before paying. We just ordered a lomo saltado, a parrillada, a jalea, 2 causas rellena, a picarone and a water our total price was $193.93 plus overcharging us a 22% of gratitude $42.66 plus taxes we ended up in paying $ 252.59 It was an insane overcharged amount for what it was served. I cooked a better lomo saltado without a greasy fried potatoes a count of 5 slices if potatoes with 6 pieces of meat, the parrillada without the authentic flavor of the peruvian parrillada and the jalea, I prepared better savory jalea for a decimal of price with quality organic products that they use and served. I definitely don’t recommend this restaurant. For the overpricing we and you deserve better.

From the beef skewers and empanadas to the aji de gallina and chicharron, everything was flavorful and delicious. Nice ambiance and excellent service.

Foods are overpriced, and they charge 22% gratuity without noticing you, and then they bring a bill asking for tips again.. too disgusting

The prices do not match those listed on the website, and the price-to-quality ratio is disappointing. Additionally, they automatically charge a tip of over 22%. The experience was acceptable, but I would not return.

Unfortunately, not a good Peruvian food experience. We had:
Beef anticucho:
- what we were expecting: two sticks of aji panca, overnight marinated beef heart square medallions, usually 4 or 5 per stick.
- what we got: one stick (it did say 1 stick on the menu) with two (yes, 2!) barely seasoned, not marinated, stiff beef meat medallions. And at that they were VERY unevenly sized. Looking at other people who got the same, some got 3 medallions, some got 2. Terrible!
Beef empanada:
- what we were expecting: a BAKED pastry dough filled with thoroughly seasoned beef pieces.
- what we got: a DEEP FRIED pastry dough filled with sufficiently seasoned beef pieces. While acceptable in taste, definitely not acceptable in execution.
Lomo saltado:
- what we expected: soft and tender stir fried beef sirloin strips, marinated in soy sauce (optionally you can add a bit of oyster sauce), sauteed with red onions and tomatoes, served with fries and white rice.
- what we got: soft and tender beef cubes cooked to order (I asked for medium rare). While the cook was nearly flawless, the quality of the meat wasn't uniform. Additionally, I'm not sure if the beef was seasoned with garlic, and the flavor had too much oyster sauce and not enough soy sauce, where the consistency of the run off was not as fluid as I would expect.
And the prices were excessive for the quality and quantity of food received.
And while I understand there was an event at the restaurant (birthday party) I expect waiters to pay attention to their tables: 22% forced gratuity for sporadic service was not welcome.
All in all, a bad experience. Would not go again... Ever!

Yesterday I was celebrating my brother's birthday, and the service is really terrible. We ordered our main dish and after 2 hours, the waiter told us it was gone. I asked if they could bring me something else and they told me that there were a lot of people and that it would take a long time.
If they do not have the capacity and efficiency to attend these types of events, they should not accept them.

The service was terrible. I knew the food would be overpriced here. Just looking at what atmosphere they're going for. Wine and dine. When I kept asking for the lunch special the server was very argumentative and very hostile. Trying to sell me on an old fish soup half price. When I told him I simply just wanted anything from the lunch special only. By the way, the lunch special is overpriced and you only get one plate and it's half portion. You don't get a soup, you don't get a drink. You don't get nothing but half portion of the original plate. Same price if you were to go down the block. It's about $20 and you don't even get what you want. They didn't have Loma salado on the lunch special, which is the main thing peruvians are known for they had Chicken Salado what in the world is that?!!!! Anyways, a server was argumentative. Very hostile and rude. Maybe because after finding out the gratuity and seeing how I was dressed he figured I wouldn't tip. And I would not have tipped anyways This man was very aggressive. Very argumentative talking over me trying to get his point across. Just very ignorant in my point of view. I don't recommend anyone supporting this place but it's your money. For overpriced food, I haven't even tried The quality of food it yet so I can't critique on that. But if they're trying to sell me on old fish soup that was $36 for half price I would not want to eat here. I'm looking for fresh Peruvian food. I'm never coming to this place again due to the price the server.

Quite possibly the best meal i have had in years. The Ceviche Classico was the best ceviche I’ve ever had. Then the Lomo Saltado was also one of the best dishes I have ever had. Then had the Peruvian pumpkin and sweet potatoes doughnuts. I’m not even a dessert person but this was great, not overly sweet but just right. Honestly overall I was blown away, speechless. Literally everything my taste buds desire. Also the took a few shots of rum on the house with the owner who is a great host. It’s only a matter of time before this place gets a feature. This restaurant is a great vibe that will leave you wanting to bring all your friends. Don’t think twice, just try it.
