I don’t understand how this place has even remotely good reviews. Today we went in and ordered two A1 plates with chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki. Took a while but whatever. And come to find out when we get our food there’s a whole, WHOLE male mosquito mayfly in the food. and then across from us another table has the same issue with a mayfly in their food. Absolutely disgusting quality how can you as a cook / chef not use your eyes and check the food that you’re serving is good quality? The fact that another customer had the same issue while we were there shows that there is a systemic issue with the staff here. Do better. Either way, I won’t be coming back and don’t bother eating here if you haven’t before. You have thoroughly ruined Hawaiian cuisine for me for now. PS I hope you can understand my anger and frustration, it breaks my heart to leave such a harsh review because we need to raise up and support locally owned / family owned businesses, but I just can’t be complacent over something so bad.

We tried the combo plate, seafood and crab rangoons, It was so delicious!! The staff were very friendly and even the owners Alan and Jacob asked if we were satisfied with our food! Wow, never had Hawaiian BBQ before, but we will again! 10 stars gentlemen, 10!

The food was absolutely horrible. Everything was uneditable. The fried shrimp was so fried you couldn’t even bite into the shrimp. The cream cheese wontons had barely any filling in it. I ate one and my kid wouldn’t even that… the bbq chicken was fatty, rice and broccoli undercooked. Idk if I went too late or what but I went two hours before closing, Maybe it was just a bad night for them? I’m unsure what happened because I seen so many good reviews. Sadly I will not be back after spending 40$ an I maybe ate two bites out of the entire meal, that’s crazy to me.

I'm sadly disappointed by this place. There are several great Hawaiian bbq places up in Plano Frisco but not this place. Got the combo beef ribs, beef and chicken. The beef ribs were great, beef mediocre. The chicken tasted equivalent to being boiled or baked-just lacking flavor. All the meats all lack that grilled flavor. And got tired of the sweet sauce at the end. Skip this place

I've discovered a Hawaiian BBQ spot with amazing flavors! The place is clean, and the food is both plentiful and delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly. I tried the mixed BBQ, and honestly, I can't decide which meat option is the best! It's definitely worth a try.
