It's not the same as it used to be—new management. The place looks awful as if it was designed without aesthetic knowledge. The colors are like those of a poor nursing home. The meals are expensive. The food is not tasty. The ambiance is a disaster. The staff looks not happy. They let go more than half of the staff, including an older employee we liked. I won’t go back ever. I came with the kids whenever we had something good to celebrate. Sad. Sad. Sad.

This place is no longer Main Street Bistro so they really need to update the name on Google. We came here thinking it was still open but it's now called The Continental. When you walk in, they still have the Mian Street Bistro breakfast/brunch menu which is extremely misleading because the food is not the same. Don't be fooled. The service was horrible, took forever to get our food and when the food came out, it wasn't even good. Not the same quality we're used when it was the real Mainstreet Bistro.

Our breakfast was good but all overpriced IMO. The bacon was thin and overcooked and we had to ask for ketchup, butter, jam, and a coffee refill. The restaurant was in what seemed like perpetual renovations.
We also had a hard time finding it because the name changed and no one told Google. With so many breakfast places in the area, we see no reason to return.

It was 7 am, store not open. Employee waved her finger no at me. Then she came to the door and said we are supposed to be open but we need to clean first. I commented I only wanted coffee not food I could stay outside and they still said no. Loss of sale and I went to

First they bring me a completely burnt toast… A teenager that doesn’t even know how to serve or greet the people he’s serving, completely untrained, I believe he was high or something! Right after eating I’m feeling a huge pain in my stomach, diarrhea. Horrible service and maybe they put something on purpose on my food because I was worried about that teenager and asked him if he was okay! Avoid this place, they’re very unprofessional and never even apologized or said they would investigate after I complained about it. They don’t care are rude

Got food poisoned at this place! My husband and I both had brunch there and immediately we started feeling sick, a lot of stomach pain and diarrhea. Called them to check on how they make their food and coffee and the guy who first answered the phone was rude when I mentioned what happened, he asked me “and what are we going to do about it?” Horrible service, never going back!

We both got food poisoning!!!
This review is more for a public service. If you don't want to have a painful time on the toilet or potentially go to the hospital, then stay away.
We ordered two mochas, avocado toast, and a deluxe breakfast.

Our server was not open to solve our questions about the prices which are not displayed on the menu, he had a mean attitude taking our order on the front desk and when taking the order he was setting everything in to go boxes instead of just taking it to our table because he “couldn’t go” to our table because he was too busy (there were 3 more servers and the coffee shop was not even full) and I get it it gets frustrating with all the orders, but still have to provide the full service If we are paying for it. ??♀️

This used to be our breakfast place when visiting Dallas. Last time we were here was in 2022, unfortanetly it went downhill, no fresh orange juice anymore, ran with low budget and food taste like ihop. Sad story of a place that offered a nice breakfast experience with great food

It’s a great little cafe for the cost. The food is a little greasy for me. Coffee is delicious and the staff and location are great ?

$16 for espresso and the restaurant was dirty. Fingerprints on everything. It looks like they didn't clean up from the night before very dirty and overpriced.

Sadly this place has gone downhill the past few years. Today I popped in for a quick bite before a scheduled event and it took over 40 minutes to get a simple burger and fries. I always about to leave when the waiter finally brought it to the table. The burger looked like it had been kicked around a bit before plated. This was so disappointing. We will not return..

Very poor customer service, salad not fresh and over cooked omelet. Server did not bring the check we had to pay at the counter yet the place was empty.
8 years ago this place had the nicest breakfast but that's not the same.

I should’ve checked reviews, but the setting in the Shops at Legacy is so nice that you would expect this to be a good place. It is not. The “fresh squeezed orange juice” ($21) poured from a one-gallon jug. ”Fresh” croissants clearly store bought and days old (and for the price they command, they certainly should not be). None of the employees speak English. Oh, and my favorite, they ask for a 15% or higher tip just for ringing you up. In summary, to be avoided.
