The place has nice employees. That is not the issue. The issue is salty food. I mean it's so salty you can't even tell what you're eating. Everything we ordered was over salted. So nasty. My husband said it's on our banned list now. We can't go to Mamas Daughter, brother, aunt, cousin, husband or even mamas mama. So disappointed. The people are great though.

They food was delicious and had good portions. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The only negative was that it was hot in there. We are in Texas and it is HOT in August, so I'm chalking that up to the A/C doing the best that it can. 😀

What are the best home cooking style restaurants in the DFW area. Great plate lunches and a wonderful breakfast. We love their rolls and biscuits. They serve big portions but if you have room, they have great pie.

Big plates of freshly prepared food. We were there for a late breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, fresh and delicious biscuits and gravy, omelettes. Pleasant, helpful staff. Reasonable prices for big dishes.

Cute diner with fabulous food! I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, squash casserole and greens. Dinner rolls are homemade and yeasty. The corn bread is some of the best I have had anywhere! Can’t wait to go back!

Cozy 50s spot! Great, Southern comfort food! Service with a smile. Plenty of parking. Short wait time. Waitresses were accommodating and food was absolutely delicious!! We will return when we are in this area again! Everything was delicious! (I wasn't a fan of the peach cobbler. I was looking for more of a homemade crust. However, the ice cream on top made up for it.)
