It’s a nice and clean restaurant. It wasnt busy when we went there. It’s a family owned restaurant which makes it special. We had the halo halo desert, it was ok and its not my favorite but I’m glad we gave this restaurant a chance. The owners were very nice.

We were out running errands and I asked my 3 year old if he wanted McDonald's...He said no, he wants to eat at this place and pointed to Mauro's. He ate the entire meal of BBQ chicken skewers and rice. This is not a fancy restaurant, but it's clean, the staff is so nice and the food is delicious.

Been coming here a few times over the past year. Look the food is good. But you will experience the worst service and the LONGEST WAIT time for dine in orders. The only reason I come back once in a while is because as a filipino there are not a lot of options in the DFW area to choose fromThe last 3 times I've came ive waited 45 to 90 minutes for just 2-3 dishes. The most recent time was close to 2 hours waiting with 4 other tables. If single individuals walk in or do grubhub they will prioritize those over those already waiting in the resteraunt.I once did a catering order for 8 trays with a prescheduled pickup time of 3:30. They did not start cooking up my food until I got there at the pickup time. I didn't leave with my catering order until 730pm almost 4 hours later. Of my 8 dishes they didn't have 2 available which they let me know while waiting. If I didn't have guests over I would have cancelled right there.

I arrived just after they opened and ordered Pansit bihon, Lechon Kawali and grilled pusit. I also purchased pandesal and Spanish bread. my only complaint was the lechon kawali, it was re-heated. The exterior meat was very tough, the skin was not crispy anymore but looks crispy, signs that it was re-fried. why would you even serve re-heated food? That shows that they don't care about thier customers or the quality of the food. Will think twice if we decide to return here.

The food is great, but extremely small portions. The quality is superior, but for this particular restaurant, I would've expected more quantity that would be par with the quality. The food was good, but I wouldn't come back due to the pricing. Service did not impact my review.Food (3.9/5):Sigsig- Great flavoring and we asked for extra lemon packets. It was good!Lechon Kawali- Good, the skin is very crispy, but lacks some flavor. Pairs well with the sauce that came with it. The sauce very much carried the Lechon.Lumpia- Good as well, but nothing crazy. Dash of herbs made it interesting. The rice given was normal, but the meat and rice ratio was off-wish there was more rice.Service (Average)Since it's a very traditional Filipino restaurant, you can't expect much service. We went on Thanksgiving afternoon and it was not busy, but lots of take out. The lady was nice, but she was busy working, not that great at multitasking.Ambiance (Average):We went on Thanksgiving afternoon and it was not busy. Lots of take out. Looks like every other Filipino market/restaurant. Nothing crazy. Stars deducted to the pricing not validating the food size. Also, the Jumex drink from the fridge was overpriced. $5.99 for that drink was shocking.

It is not just a Filipino restaurant, and it also sells Filipino snacks, ice cream and bakery.Food is hearty and comfort. Beef Caldereta is highly recommended. The cashier lady is so friendly, helpful and nice. The environment is clean and simple. Food is served fast, but a little pricey regarding the portion.

It takes so long. We spent over 2 hours there. We ordered nilagang baka and munggo, 45 min later the nilagang baka arrived and the only waitress/ worker there said that the munggo was unavailable. So we ordered Bistek and that arrived 45 min later (this was after waiting 45 min already). The portions were small so we ordered another dish that was supposedly cooked already but waited another 30 min....The nilagang baka and pancit were good. The bistek, not so good. This place could use some tidying up, there are plenty of boxes and items on the side of the hallway leading to the bathrooms.

Got lumpia to go. The woman out the front was so sweet I really enjoyed having a conversation with her. My food was ready quickly, and the taste was outstanding. When I got home, I was so hungry. I had to eat some of it before I even I’m taking this picture. It’s so good that even my pet stole one.

We drove 3hrs from Oklahoma to try the Crispy Pata since I was really craving for it. The service was really slow. There were 3 people working when we got there and we waited patiently in line to place our order. We ordered crispy pata and chicken inasal and went to our table after. 30mins has passed and we still havent got our food. No words from the server/cashier. 10mins later, the server was looking for a table number which is ours so I raised my hand. We were so excited that finally we are getting our food. 5mins later the server hasn’t brought our food still so I went to the counter and asked if our food is ready and I’ll just take it from there cause we’re already hungry. When we got our food, I am so disappointed with the crispy pata. The portion doesnt seem like an XL and its mostly bones with very little meat added to it. Plus the pork skin has a lot of hair still on it like it wasn’t cleaned and prepped properly.

I came here on 11/12/23 with my family. We order over $100 and tried a variety of dishes. The adobo was our favorite of all the dishes. We were not impress with the crispy pata! It tasted like it was old and they just put it in the air fryer to warm it up. Had a weird after taste to it!Serving size for some of the dishes where very small especially for the pork sisig!Anyhow my hopes that they will take review and improve, we came to this spot because it had lots of Great reviews. Maybe we came in the wrong day!

In dire need of an efficient process to serve their customers, especially when they get quite busy. Waited almost 45 minutes for food only to come out in tapas, tiny portions. Mind you, they weren't cheap. By the time you get your food, you are so hangry that you can't savor it whether it was good or not. When you approach one of the staff, it feels like you are inconveniencing them. Kind of like "be thankful you got your food." Won't be back.

I knew it was going to taste amazing when the wait was an authentic, home made cooking type of wait! They remained crispy and hot on the 1 1/2 mile drive home! Excellent presentation! I will definitely order again!

I like supporting the small business but way too overpriced. The lady behind the xpunter didn't seem to want business as she was watching TV and didnt bother to greet us as we walked in. 3 items cane out to $35,pan de sal, bilo bilo, & pinipig polveron. Me and my wife could have had a nice dinner with just a little more $. Probably not going to come back

I made a huge catering order and confirmed it online and by phone twice. Then they called me to pick it up when the prepared the food ONE DAY TOO EARLY. Another time, I made a takeout order then went to pick it up only to find out they forgot my order! Unfortunately they aren’t more Filipino restaurants to choose from in this area.
