I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. There was only one server handling all the tables, which led to long delays. It took 20 minutes just to receive a menu, and when I ordered a drink, the server completely forgot about it until I reminded him.
We placed an order for wings and fries, but after an hour, we had to ask about our food. It turned out the kitchen never even made it, despite it being on our check that was dropped over before the food. The server wasn’t checking in on us regularly, and doing so periodically could have easily prevented the issue of not receiving our food.
My friends also had trouble getting the attention of the bar staff. They waited a long time without even a brief acknowledgment. A simple “I’ll be with you in a minute” would’ve gone a long way.
It’s clear the staff was understaffed and the management could’ve done more to help, especially by assisting with running food. Overall, the lack of attention and slow service made the experience frustrating, and I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. Ended up leaving and going to Wingstop after wasting a hour and a half at this establishment.

A delightful pub and restaurant in the heart of downtown Plano . Very reasonably priced and freindly place . Spacious , relaxed atmosphere with a big bar and sizable seating area in and outside . The patio outside has nice seating area . Big selection of drinks and beers , more than 30 draft beer options including local beers. Lots of other bourbon and liquor options.
Food is actually good . Tried the chicken fried chicken and the chicken tenders , both were great. Burgers seem to be good but did not try them as it seems there is pork meat mixed with the burger patty . Chicken wings were ok not great . Need more spicing inside.but they were crispy enough . They have karaoke night on Fridays which was a lot of fun . Bartenders were freindly and one of them sings while performing a song on the karaoke I , which was lots of fun . Highly recommended
The food and drinks were fantastic. Unfortunately we had multiple items that we ordered that never came, and they weren't particularly busy either. But the items also weren't on our tabs when we closed out so no harm no foul. Definitely reccment stopping there in downtown Plano!

Very cool neighborhood-style sports bar/pub. We didn't eat, only came for beers and to watch a football game. Food options looked good, so we'll have to come back. They have $4 domestic beers during happy hour, which is awesome. Staff was friendly and they have plenty of TVs to watch sports.
Very disappointing, fish and chips under cooked and over battered and the chips very soggy…service was indifferent

Bar keep Chris is a kind as well as a gentleman. Plus Logan & most especially Emily make you feel welcomed, with a hey, how ya do'n. Great vibs...plus most are friendly at the bar..it seems to me only the good people drink & dine at McNeal's.

Went for dinner and got the shepherds pie, bratwurst, chicken fried chicken, and spaghetti with butter sauce. Has a few games like darts and the such (pool costs money). Has a bar and a separate area which is less loud. Waiters are nice and got food pretty quickly.
