We usually love Mesero and I have written many glowing reviews. However. The service last night ruined the experience. Our waiter was rude and I accommodating. It was my son's birthday and I wish we had a do-over. Very disappointing.
Love that all but 3 menu items are gluten-free! The green salsa with avocado is spectacular. Don't sleep on the cheese enchiladas. The Rojas sauce is smoky and next level. Shrimp tacos are great! Mocktails are a great non-alcoholic option with great flavor. My new #1 spot for tex-mex!
Pretty decent Mexican restaurant in Legacy West. Their dips for their complimentary tortilla chips were great, especially the spicy one. And they also worked well when put on the tacos.
As for the tacos, they were pretty good, but not better than a nice affordable family owned Mexican restaurant, even if the area around Mesero is nice. The churros were nice and has a caramel filling.
As for the service it seemed a little sloppy. No problem...
