Arnold Nitishin is a fantastic ambassador for Mexican Sugar. He was mixing with everyone helping and being quite an asset! Great food. Motive was a good server too

We waited over 35 minutes for our reserved time. The service was terrible! We saw our waitress only 3 times. She had a bad attitude and seemed as if she didn't want to be at work. No personality and extremely slow service. The party that was holding our patio table hostage had been there for 3 1/2 hours and wouldn't be told by the restaurant staff to vacate the table to accommodate our reserved time! Very disappointing. Mgt wouldn't even step in! Food is excellent but service can use improvement.

Beautiful restaurant with and impressive bar sending out amazing concoctions. We were a group of 11 for my wife's birthday and the service was top notch. The chips were constantly flowing along with salsa, and the entrees came out in a timely manor, and were hot and tasty. There was no charge to bring in our own birthday cake as well which is nice! We're definitely going back!

Amazing food and service. I've been to the one in uptown and not so great experience. I got the steak salad with cilantro lime dressing and it was delishhh!

We arrived and was seated right away. We waited over 5 minutes before anyone approached our table. We placed our drink order and waited more. Finally got our drinks (tea) and placed our appetizer order. The arepas were good and so was the guacamole. Our drinks remained empty for most of the dining experience. We placed our dinner order and the food was serviced cold and I returned my food. It was so cold and unappealing. They ran out of tea and was told we were need to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready. This was our first time there and don't expect to be returning. I was really wanting to love this place but it was not worthy it.

I will start with the positive...they have, by far, the best tortilla chips and guacamole I've had in a LONG time! I also loved the red sangria. Perfection! The restaurant also has a lovely ambiance. That being said, my dinner was way too spicy, and I'm not one much for spice. I didn't realize it would be that spicy, so it was hard for me to eat much of my meal. I also found a produce rubber band in my rice. I'm sure it was a kitchen oversight, but it didn't help my meal experience. I would happily come back for a happy hour or for drinks and appetizers, but I don't know that I'd come back for dinner.

Absolutely not impressed and so disappointed by the service and the lack of effort from the staff. This won’t last long if they don’t do better. What a waste of $200+ for cold food delivered out of order, wrong drinks that had to be redone multiple times, and a waitress who was missing more than present. And don’t ask for more chips and salsa unless you want to beg. This review is honest and will post in multiple locations.

Dinner choice myself and business companion chose Sugar Mexican, First time visiting and wasn’t disappointed. I had the Fajitas with corn ? tortillas. The salsa was outstanding . I’ve not eaten salsa like that ever. Usually it’s cold here they serve it hot and I must say it was delicious. I’ll definitely go back for another visit.
Phenomenal experience with Steven taking great care of us, and Nely, the manager was very friendly as well. The staff members were very knowledgeable and attentive. Despite the restaurant seeming to be very busy, it was clear that the staff treats everyone as a VIP and we could not have picked a better place for date night.
Customer service is TOP notch. Salsa, queso, drinks….what more do you need ??

Beautiful restaurant with a perfect location. The food wasn’t too good, wasn’t awful. It took our party a while to get service from our server & he often forgot the check in for our order, refills, etc. We had to track him down for service which isn’t a pleasant experience.
