Drove 20 minutes to get here and as soon as we walked in were told they were out of teriyaki and pulehu chicken. No apologies for the inconvenience or offer other options to the menu, I know it was one hour before they closed for the day so my family and I were not the only the last ones getting this kind of greeting for the rest of the day. Needless to say we left and will think twice before coming to this location. Sachse is better!

The staff was working hard it because it was busy. They got my food out in a reasonable time. The chicken has a grilled taste to it and the pork was tender and flavorful. Macaroni salad was delicious. Veggies were fresh and good too.

Warm and inviting atmosphere. We could smell how good it was going to be as soon as we walked in. Loved the set up of seating. Fun decor right as soon as we walked in. Love that I can see my food being made.
The owner was soo nice and helpful in navigating the menu options. And we even got stickers.
But the real love was the food! In order of my favorites: Teriyaki chicken, Kalua Pig and Katsu chicken. That Teriyaki chicken was tender and favorful with the perfect amount of char. The macaroni salad was good. My husband said it was ok. But really liked it. He did love the veggies! But too much broccoli for me.
Our kids loved it too! Their favorite was the katsu.

I had the pork and teriyaki steak. First time having Hawaiian food. It was amazing! The employees were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. I will definitely eat here again!

I wanted to check out this place because of the hype. Unfortunately, the meat was dry. The customer service person charged me 51. I looked at him crazy. It was for everything. He didn't asked together or separate. I probably won't return.

Don't let the name of the "Mini" fool you - it is more than enough for a meal. The meat, rice, veggies, and mac salad are all fresh and delicious. The sauces are interesting and it's fun to try different combinations of meats and sauces. Definitely get the fresh POG juice (passion, orange, guava)
