I ordered the chicken and dressing. The gravy that came with the entree, had green specs in it. It was supposed to be giblet gravy but there were no giblets. The amount of dressing was very small. The vegetables were well cooked but the cornbread muffins that came with my dinner were hard and very dense. The service was very slow and there were only 4 tables that were dining. I will not be returning.

I want to start by saying i LOVE Norma's restaurant at least the Dallas location. This review is Plano, and yes, I spoke with a manager. Nothing was changed except we got our drinks in to-go cups. The drinking glasses we were served had LAYERS of nasty film inside the rims that I could scrape off with my finger without effort. Pic posted here. DISGUSTING. The chicken and dressing came out with very finely minced chicken. TERRIBLE. One cup of coffee was all I got the whole time I was there, although I asked two different waiters for a refill. I was told they were too busy. The cornbread muffins were ice cold, hard, and full of old grease. I asked for extra gravy for my chicken fried chicken, which I didn't get. I asked for lemon for my water twice that I didn't get. I ordered a biscuit but got cold white toast. I asked for home fries, he said yes, we have them. I got French fries, which were the best thing we got, btw, even though they weren't what I ordered. I will NEVER come back to this establishment. The upside was the chicken fried chicken was good, along with the fries. That's the one star. Sorry, but it was horrible, especially for a Norma's.

The back of the t-shirt says Home Cookin', but the chicken fried steak did not look or taste like it was made there. It appeared and tasted like it was pre-made somewhere else and just fried there. Gravy tasted like it came from a bucket out of the fridge, not home made. Can someone tell me what dishes they actually make there and are not pre-made and warmed up?

Ashby was my server and she was so attentive and personable! She has a wonderfully inviting personality. I had the migas and grits and they were both so good! The manager Megan came and visited us as well and welcomed us as it was our first time. I can’t wait to try more dishes!

We use to come here quite often, but our last visit prior to today was less than pleasant, so much so that we haven't been back in over a year. Today was awesome!! Elise was so nice and very attentive to us the entire time! We will be back and we for sure will ask for Elise!!! Thank you so much for making this visit so much different!!
