North Italia is fantastic - excellent, lively location with beautiful outdoor seating near the fountain. The food tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. We tried the Chef’s Board (Farmer’s Market) and loved how simple yet high-quality the ingredients were. The white truffle garlic bread was also very good. Service was friendly. It does get crowded on weekends, but it’s a great spot for a date. Convenient parking garage nearby. Highly recommend!

We had Cesar salad and eggplant parmesan. The salad had great flavor but way to much dressing and so salty. Next time I'll get 1/4 the amount of dressing. We ordered the vodka sauce on the side so the eggplant did not get soggy and drown in the sauce. Eggplant had great flavor with no sauce because the sauce was salty as well. Took the remaining eggplant home and made my own marinara sauce.

Beautiful place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal. Excellent customer service and the food was superb!! There's no dress code but based on the atmosphere, look professional and presentable.

I recently visited the one in Dallas and I was blown away how good everything was, Plano not so much. Example the truffle garlic bread was 10/10 but this time it was dry, and was not good at all. When we explained this to the waiter he just said oh really wow then asked if we were ready to order.

Plenty of pasta, very little meat - disappointing!

Appetizers were great, pizza was very good, as was the wine. The lasagna was served in an extremely hot metal dish - unfortunately the lasagna itself was at best warm in the middle. Been here before and had some very good meals. I'd steer away from the lasagna - even if it was heated thoroughly it would still have been disappointing. I'll be back, but know this dish is off my list.

Went ~7pm on a weekday night. It was extremely busy and loud, if you like that vibe/energy - that's there. 40 min wait.

I asked for crispy/well-done pizza, I've been here many times. I got pizza that was both somewhat raw/undercooked, as well as kind of bread/biscuity. Very hard to describe. The crust was visibly pale/white. The bottom of the pizza had A LOT of burnt soot/semolina flour(?).

Waiter was extremely slow, and only managed 1 refill over an hour+.

Honestly a horrible experience, and almost enough to never go back. The only reason it wasn't 1 star, was because we've been and it's been better than that.

I enjoy the Bolognese very much. It is a bit too salty, though. Squid ink noodles is tasty as well.

Excellent food. Enjoyed a nice girl's night during the middle of the week. Plenty of room at the bar to wait before table is ready. Friendly service. Excellent food great drinks. Will be coming back for a date night. Only complaint is that you only get 1 fork and had to ask for another when meal came.

North Italia nails the food. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
Yes, it’s a bit expensive — but the quality backs it up. You’re paying for solid ingredients and execution, not hype.
Overall: pricey, but worth it if you care about good Italian done right.

Great food, impeccable service in an open and inviting atmosphere. It was our first time and we can't wait to go back again.
