Food was good. Had a good fast service and the waitress was polite and caring. On other hand the tables are so close to each other. We had an elderly couple seated next us and it was little uncomfortable for both of us. Besides that all good, a good place to try for a change

This is definitely not your traditional Japanese style restaurant. From the moment we arrived, all the way through our dinning experience, we were constantly reminded that this is a place of efficiency, not pleasure to enjoy the experience. Once we said that we did not have a reservation, we were placed on a time limit to dine and be out because they "needed the table". To our surprise we didn't see any tables reserved. We sat at the bar and the staff was strictly focused on preparing the food - 0 interaction with the customer, unlike in other sushi bar settings, not even to answer questions. While the decor is neat and modern, the setting is very tight as the tables are super close to each other. We were given our check even before we finished our meal and were rushed out. The food itself was good but more of a fusion than traditional Japanese - a roll with pico de gallo was a total mystery on the palette. The octopus sushi had a nice refreshing bite of lemon, but was not tenderized at all. Our server was not very knowledgeable of the drinks on the menu and had to go back to the bar multiple times to pass on our questions. At the end, we were very surprised by the "mixed bev tax" - first time seeing it. Worth trying once anyways, but not a spot on my top list.

I love this place, it's my new favorite sushi spot. Always fresh and delicious. Very good food. As for ambiance, I do think the lights are a little bright for a Japanese spot. It could stand to be a little more moody at night.

Love sitting at the sushi bar so we can interact and watch the the Sushi Chef do their magic. My husband and I ask questions and they are happy to answer and we learn about different fish and foods they have on and off their menu.

If you’re looking for a party of 4 to sit on a table made for two and play a game of jigsaw all evening trying to fit your plates, then this is your place! When we asked to move to a bigger table for 4, the waitress told us it was reserved for another party…good thing 4 bigger tables sat open the entire time we were there.

This was our first and definitely not our last time to grab dinner. I would highly suggest making a reservation. If you're looking for a quiet evening this is NOT the place to go until after 8pm or so. It's definitely energetic and lively making it challenging to hear yourself speak!. Aside from that our server and the manager was absolutely attentive and kind. They were helpful with the menu and providing recommendations. We were beyond ecstatic with everything we ordered- Egg rolls were amazing in addition to the Salmon Carpaccio, Himalayan and the Tribeca Roll. We'll definitely return for another amazing experience.

Service was unusually poor this visit. I think it was our server. Our appetizers came long after our meal (and we had to ask about it several times). Tables next to us were being served the appetizers we ordered so it wasn't a kitchen issue. One of our sushi orders never came out and the server didn't even realize it when she gave us the bill (and the dish was still on the ticket). She wasn't concerned with the service problems as if none of these issues were out of the ordinary (but we know this has never happened in any of our past visits). The sushi is amazing!! We should've been more vocal about getting our missing food but had assumed it was going to improve.
