Would love to give a higher review as the burger was pretty decent, but it was just so ludicrous that we were in a nearly empty restaurant and it took over 40 minutes to receive our order. There was also a weird silence in the restaurant that created an awkward ambiance. Would probably stick to take out in the future - not a great experience with hungry kids. Also not sure why the double burger wasn't an option on the menu, but the single with fries was pretty unfilling.

We stopped by while in the area for a volleyball tournament. We ordered several different things and food was just ok and honestly, a bit overpriced . Probably wouldn’t go back but the man who helped us was friendly.

After driving past Olive Burger countless times, I finally decided to stop by after seeing all the positive reviews. I ordered a double cheeseburger with sweet potato fries to see what the hype was about.
The burger was decent—nothing to complain about for the price—but it lacked seasoning, and the cheese wasn’t melted, which took away from the overall experience. 3/5
The sweet potato fries were served hot, which was a plus, but they were also under-seasoned. A little salt made a big difference, but I wish they had more flavor from the start. 3/5
On the bright side, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was spotless, making for a pleasant dining experience. 5/5

Been coming here for years. Tonight the food was not very good. The burgers have gotten smaller and the meat did not taste fresh. The bacon was very chewy almost like it had been frozen for awhile. Overall a disgusting experience. My complaints are solely based on the taste and quality of the food. The service was good.
I will not be coming back here anymore.

So many good sandwich choices from burgers, chicken sandwiches, gyros, and cheesesteaks. Onion rings are on point with the sauces too.
I recently visited Olive Burger at 5620 State Highway 121 in Plano, Texas, and had a very concerning experience.
We placed an order through the drive-thru, which included a cheeseburger, a jalapeño cheeseburger, a drink, and a chocolate shake. Partway through drinking my shake, I choked on a large piece of brown plastic that had come through the straw.
Thankfully, we were still in the parking lot, as we had to leave soon for Jummah prayer. I immediately went back to the drive-thru to report the incident. The young employee who handed me the shake was shocked and admitted, “Oh my God! That’s the plastic from the chocolate bottle cap.”
I then requested to speak to the manager, hoping for some accountability and a resolution. Unfortunately, the manager I encountered was incredibly unprofessional. He dismissed my concerns, accused me of lying, and even bragged about owning five restaurants and having 15 years of industry experience. Despite his claims, he demonstrated absolutely no professionalism or customer service skills.
Instead of addressing the issue responsibly, he refused to take accountability—even though his own employee had already acknowledged the source of the plastic. His behavior, including chewing on a toothpick while speaking to me, was insulting and disrespectful.
This was not just about the shake—it was about safety and accountability. Swallowing a piece of plastic due to negligence is unacceptable, and the manager’s dismissive attitude made the situation even worse.
To the manager: If you ever face a similar situation, I hope you remember this incident. Treating customers with care and respect is a basic expectation, especially when your negligence puts someone’s health at risk.
I would caution others to think twice before visiting this location.

The burgers are excellent—anyone who has been there knows they serve the best burgers and French fries in all of Texas. However, the service has been getting worse over the past few visits. For instance, today it took them more than 45 minutes to serve my meal, and they forgot part of it. We had to remind them to bring the missing items. If that’s not bad service, I don’t know what is.

Overall, they need more employees during dinner hours.

I ordered the Gyro via my work's delivery app. My coworker was raving about the gyro and how authentic the meat is on the wrap.
The food delivery app came late (not Olive Burger's fault). The meat was seasoned well and it had a great flavor. It came with a side of their tzatziki sauce. The tzatziki sauce was extremely thick. It didn't taste freshly made and almost like it was squeezed out of a bottle. It has the consistency of mayonnaise. I would skip the tzatziki sauce next time.
I will order here again.

Rudest manager i have ever seen in my life. Does not know how to talk to customers when their order is wrong then hangs up in their face and acts like he is the dang victim. I have been to many olive burgers and when they get something wrong they easily remake it or let me come back to get it remade. This manager Herr was rude told me I couldn't talk when I ordered my food and then proceeded to tell me I was rude to him.. sad do not eat at this place there are other olive burger
My family and I got a takeout order from this establishment. We have visited before and enjoyed our experience, however this time was not the case. We had a takeout order to pick up at the drive-through, and we have done this many times before. We pulled up to the speaker window however after waiting, no one responded, therefore we pulled up to the window. There was no one at the window, so we started gently knocking on the window, assuming a worker would hear and open it. After a few knocks, a man with a beard opened the door and had a very rude attitude from the beginning. You would assume he would be apologetic about the long wait however he was not. Nevertheless, we were very kind but from the beginning he had a rude demeanor and said that next time we need to talk to the speaker. He continued to go on, and spoke in a loud tone and very distasteful especially as a customer. It got to the point where my father had to put his hand up and indicate to stop being aggressive. We explained to him we tried to do so but he was not understanding. I’m not sure if management changed, or if the other Olive Burger has a different owner, but we recommend visiting that one. If you visit this one, be mindful of the service you will receive.

I wouldn’t recommend this location. The food here is really bad and the customer service is really poor and it’s clean less place. I still like it the Richardson location better. I will never come back and eat here again. The food missed my stomach.
