It wasn't very busy, however service was pretty slow. I think our server may have been new. We waited a while for chips, water and other things. I did notice (not only once but twice) the manager looked at our table but never came over to help. I think what put it over the line, was one in our group waited 20 minutes after food got put down, to receive the rest of his order. They forgot the shrimp and took 20 minutes to bring out 3 pieces of shrimp.

Probably the best location of On The Border that I have been to. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was fresh and great tasting.

Coming in to se Keira in the bar who always takes great care of me. Today a new young lady was the bartender. I noticed Keira was on the other side working and she came to say hi. When the other girl noticed we knew each other she immediately asked if Keira want to take care of me. I think this is a real show of compassion and teamwork.

This review is mainly based on our service, not the food quality. I wanted to wait a couple of days before I wrote my review to make sure I didn't write anything out of pure anger. We went to eat dinner this past Saturday night. The restaurant was absolutely empty and there were only two people at the bar and one other table in the bar area plus us, a family of three. With virtually no one in the restaurant, I would have thought we would have wonderful service. The manager came over to the table before we got our meal and asked if we were okay. I told him yes, everything has been great. It started off great, but went downhill after we received our food. I will say, our food was wonderful. Everything tasted great!
After we received our food, our server would disappear and take quite a while to get a refill or extra plate to us. She did check on us once to ask if the food was okay, and we said yes, it is great. When we finished our meal, I asked for the check. About 10 minutes went by we were still waiting. I asked her again and she snapped at me that she was waiting for it to print. When she went to the point of sale and printed it out (right across from us at the bar) she put the check in the book and kind of tossed it on our table. I don't know what happened, but it was like she snapped and just became super angry. After she took our payment, she again tossed the check back on the table and walked away.
Like I previously stated, food was great, however the server was rude and acted like she had no desire of being there and was ready to leave.

Got here maybe exactly an hour before closing; and normally I try not to do that due to previous bad experiences from other restaurants but I couldn't help what I wanted lol. Anyway yall absolutely k'lled it last night. Danielle was our waitress and she just provided impeccable service omg. She really was more than amazing. After she took our order she said the food would be right out and she meant exactly that. The food came out almost instantly and was hot and had zero mistakes
Baby when I tell you whoever was back there cooking was not playing NO games! We literally get the same thing each and every time we come here. Now I did notice something different with the krinkle fries that came with the kids meal. It was like some type of crispy coating yall did with that. I'm not mad at it because I don't normally like krinkle fries like that but I like what yall did with those. I almost abolished my poor baby fries lol

The salsa is always yummy. we got fajitas to go and meh....they were just OK. This location is always deserted I'm surprised they're still in business

Lousy service. They dropped off food and never came back. Had to wave her down for the bill. Only 4 tables were occupied. I won’t be back!
