Peppersmash - A Cocktail Kitchen

This place was really fun originally. The cocktail menu was extensive and they offered a variety of “experience cocktails”. We returned after a few years passed and were highly disappointed. It seemed as if possibly ownership changed, staff was not attentive and there is now an automatic gratuity charge on any bill, which was not well deserved in consideration of services received. We are typically highly generous when deserved, and would not complain usually for automatic gratuity unless it truly was a disappointment. The entire vibe has shifted and it seems as though on weekend evenings it is a bit of a rowdy crowd. We really used to enjoy late evenings here but can’t say we will be returning.

The owner Jason was amazing!! Alert and Brock😍🥰 they’re phenomenal bartenders, we had such an amazing time celebrating my sisters birthday. This was a amazing!! Check them out every Tuesday & Wednesday!

I did not eat any food. I only had 2 drinks, and it was decent, nothing to brag about. I had to instruct the bartender on adding things for it to taste better. The DJ was doing his thing, it was LIT on that aspect.

This place is not my first choice as the service and crowd can make or break it. Music/DJ is usually good, and the drinks are fine. If you are in the area, check it out and see what you think.

No way to reach anyone. The phone # for Google is incorrect. It goes right to "person not available"message EVERY time call no matter the time or day (after opening hours) they need this fixed! The vibe is good when I am there but this phone # stuff i huge issue. They need this fixed!

So, I decided on what’s pictured. I ordered buffalo wings.. no fries included but it does come with ranch, a couple of carrots, and celery. The music selection is very 2010 Dallas, which I guess is what most of the patrons want to hear. The bathroom was clean, there is no cover charge, and I felt safe. There is security throughout the building as well as outside. Would I return? Unsure.
