We love Poor Richard's Cafe. My husband has eaten here several times, so this time. I decided to go because he bragged on it so much!!! And so when we got there, and it was awesome !!!! We had a great host who seated us, a beautiful and friendly waitress who gave us awesome service and was very attentive. We received the most delicious food within about 10-15 minutes. Everything was beautifully eye desirable ?The place is beautifully decorated with American style decor and a place where veterans can feel right at home. My husband is a vet, so it felt very special to us.On our way out, to pay, we meet another friendly and kind cashier!!!!Thank you, Poor Richard, for a great meal and a comfortable place to feel at home!!!!Mardianne and Barry

Well, it has been a while since I've been here, and it may be a while before I go back. The last few times I ate here, the food was great. That's not the case this time. My bacon ? was burnt, and my eggs were overcooked. Even the gravy tasted odd. I would still recommend you try this place, and hopefully, you'll have a better experience than I did.

The French Toast meal was absolutely the best. I put syrup on my French toast. That bacon was GREAT y'all ! My hubby didn't care for the country potatoes because they put onions in with them but he ate them all anyway. He had the southern breakfast. They cooked his eggs perfectly the way he likes. The service was.even better.. super nice staff.

Dated on the atmosphere but part of it charm. Food was amazing. We had liver and onions, side salad, green beans, and grits (real, Southern, 20 minutes cooking)- next time I'll get cheese and bacon added to my grits but the butter, salt and pepper was super. We were served both biscuits and cornbread in true Southern tradition. Only suggested improvement would be removing liver ducts. We took home a mushroom and swiss burger wth fries to our daughter. She loved hers, too.

We visit most every Sunday. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Meals are prepared well and they have been entering meals electronically years before most other restaurants. ?Kid-friendliness: Always accommodating special needs children and adults

I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and corn bread. The food was hot, good but the corn bread was a bit hard. Overall the service was great.

Same good food and great service as 10 years ago. There were still a few familiar faces too.

Best local place to eat for breakfast. Just moved and this is a few mins from the house. Loved the food, the service and especially the Veteran community, which made my husband feel right at home.

We had not been here for a while, and the food has not changed, still hearty, a good value and quick service. We each got an omelet, fajita and cheeseburger for a late lunch midweek. The total cost, including a healthy tip was $28. A real good deal in today's market.
