Visited the Red Truck Cafe on Sat night 11-8-25 at approximately 6:30. I specifically made the trip because of the 4.5 * that it got on the Next Door app. It is my honest opinion that the food I was served at this restaurant was absolutely not a 4.5 but rather a 2 maybe. I had the chicken fried steak and it was thin as a hamburger from McDonald's. The coating was not crispy and gravy was tasteless. My friend had breakfast instead of the prime rib that she wanted. When we arrived she was told no prime rib since July. Gee you think someone one could of worked on the menu items since then? Those fantastic hash browns that people raved about, not so much! Oh and the coconut cream pie had a funky taste to it as well, almost like it was old. Unfortunately it got tossed once home I will say however that Tyler our wait person was great and her service was excellent. Dolly D.

I have been coming here almost every weekend for breakfast or lunch for over 2 years. Red truck cafe is by far the best breakfast and lunch spot. The owner is always there with a friendly attitude and smile like the rest of the staff and the food is absolutely amazing and fresh. This is my favorite spot to eat out

Pretty good! Nice people, good food, and our waitress was great. Like most places, one thing was a little overcooked, but it was an easy fix. there was no need to make a big deal out of it. Overall, a very relaxing spot for brunch, with guests who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Highly recommend 🙏

Amazing find. We were just looking for a breakfast place and found this awesome spot. Brandon our server and his team were 1st rate. My new favorite breakfast stop in Plano. Pork chop and eggs. A++++ Sasage n gravy dreamy.

Just tried Red Truck Cafe for the first time and was delighted! I had the Chicken & Dumplings which is the Thursday special. Heaping portions of country cooking. Great service and clean restaurant - it really made my day. I look forward to coming back!

My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.

Slow service in not busy morning! No butter for my toast that asked extra on because it comes dry, almost walked out because took long time to take my order! Foods okay, evening service is better!
