This place went downhill really fast. Currently dining here for Valentine’s dinner. Got here at 8:45pm(with reservation). Waited almost 40 min to be seated. When seated, another 20 min just for our appetizer. Another 30 min for the salad, and finally the food came. My food overall wasn’t that bad, but it was way too salty. The steak was tender but too salty. Too much flavor and salty. It’s now 11:10pm and we are done dining. Worst experience at Roy’s, unfortunately and I won’t return to this place. Worst dinner experience!

Food is top notch: unique menu, changes frequently, excellent service. Only 4 stars because I feel one should receive a larger portion, especially for the price. I typically leave there very hungry if I only order an entree.

Fantastic !! Came to celebrate my wife and they were nothing but spectacular. The food, the service and hospitality were unparalleled. Highly recommend and couldn’t say enough about this amazing place. Be sure to ask for Kim. She’s the best and regarding experiences, she’s one of the best.

At some point between April 2019 and December 2019, Roy's took a weed whacker to half its menu. Why?? It was a fabulous menu before. The sushi options are now extremely limited and only found under appetizers. The seared scallops (my once favorite) have been removed and a sub par shellfish sampler took its place. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Plano, but the new menu is so disappointing.

So, Roy's. This was a hard review for me, because Roy's was, in the past, a great place to go. This review is from our experience the last 3 times we have gone. I hate to review somewhere based on a single experience. First and foremost the service is impeccable. Which is why 3 stars instead of 2. The food however, has gone downhill consistently for the last few times. Start with the lobster bisque. Curry flavor was ok.. Zero, lobster. None.. no lobster flavor, no lobster chunks, zip. It was tomato Curry juice. Crab cakes, the crab seems as though it had turned and smelled bad, and had a very off flavor. Steaks, were properly prepared and seasoned, but they were just average. The snapper had a good flavor, and the sauce was flavorful. Ordered a Hawaiian martini, that was just coconut flavor, but noticed a black hair in it. Of the 5 dishes we had, the snapper was the only one that was worth the cost. For the prices that they charge, the quality of the food is just not worth it anymore. Again, the service and our waitress was very nice, and did a wonderful job. Also, we used to love Roy's, and have eaten there many times, but like I said, the last few times, it has been a disappointment. For the value, and the quality we will find a new place.

I wanted a great meal so I selected Roy's. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome and appreciated. The service was attentive without being too much. Jason made great recommendations. I picked a starter and main course outside my normal and was rewarded with a wonderful meal. The lava cake was better than I remembered. I did not want to brush my teeth afterward it was so good. The house cab (Roy's label) was well aged and finished nicely.

I wanted to take my family to a nice dinner. We like to take our time and enjoy a long meal. Despite that fact, wait time to order drinks and appetizers was uncomfortably long. They tasted great, and everyone enjoyed them. We liked the cocktails, and they accommodated a special drink request. The time it took to receive dinner after ordering prompted us to ask when the food would be ready. When the food finally came, someone's meal in my party was nearly cold. We waited far too long for dessert and had to ask them to forget it and just bring us the check. The check took about another 10 minutes. I had to ask for it a second time. Even after knowing about our subpar experience, the manager didn't come to talk or apologize. My family will remember long waits and not receiving dessert. I've visited some of the other Roy's locations and have come to expect top-notch service. The service we received at the Plano location was unacceptable. I do not expect to return to this location.

The food here at Roy’s is beyond spectacular. And everyone there, Chef, wait staff, managers are phenomenal!! Super friendly, and wonderful energy!! They hosted our work party and the food and service was perfect and spectacular! Highly recommend! Thank you, Michelle and ALL the staff at Roy’s for a great experience!

I ordered the Maui Wowie salad which is described as butter lettuce feta cheese a lime dressing with shrimp And avocado. I was told it was a pretty decent size salad. Flavor was OK there was no avocado on my salad and it appeared to have 2 shrimp total, just cut into tiny pieces; it was definitely not worth $15. However, on a positive note Anthony the bartender was super sweet staff was very friendly and I will go back again I just will try something else.

First of all, the service is always the best. We came for their Philippine fusion cuisine and was totally shocked. The dishes have Filipino sauces but had a Hawaiian twist. They were so well unconventionally paired and we loved every dish. Surprisingly better than traditional Filipino food.

I love your food! the canoe for two is my favorite. I love the mixture of food you have. The only thing is I would like to suggest is to improve on drinks. Last time we ordered a chocolate martini, not sure if it was on menu but it was very different compared to what we had in a few other places. It could just be the Bartender mixing it a different way....I'm not sure. But all around amazing place, really amazing food and atmosphere.
