I ordered a Paneer Biryani and a Dosa. 1.) Dosa was really good. 2.) I ordered a Paneer Biryani - Spicy. (When the order came- it was not a biryani. It was looking and tasting like a masala rice in which they had put paneer cubes. To make it spicy, they just put a lot of green chillies in it. So, I was getting more taste of green chillies in it.) So basically, they gave a masala rice with paneer cubes and a lot of green chillies.

I wish i could give even 0 rating..such a non humenatarian act..they do allow food from outside not even 2 years old kids...disguisting how kids can stay hungary until parents finish their food like seriuosly, specially when you come so often and give them business..

Saravanaa Bhavan Plano Texas, offers decent South Indian vegetarian food with authentic flavors, though the overall experience felt average. The Indian Pan was a standout—delicious and worth the higher price. However, the restaurant is perpetually crowded, which detracts from the dining experience. A good spot for South Indian food, but be prepared for the crowds and slightly premium pricing

Have been here many times. Food is great especially on weekdays when less crowded. All dosas and other south indian dishes we tried are good. I love the Veg pulao here.
I visited today for lunch and ordered the special thali. Unfortunately, the rice was undercooked. I informed the server, who replaced the rice, but the replacement was also undercooked. While the sambar and other dishes were good, I couldn’t enjoy my meal due to the poorly cooked rice.
I decided to share my feedback with the manager at the front desk (wearing a white shirt and standing near the glass). Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he dismissed my concern, saying, “Oh, you’re the only one complaining. This is how we cook rice; it’s not undercooked.” He even insinuated that I didn’t know how rice should be cooked, which felt disrespectful.
As a regular customer, I understand that mistakes can happen, and I genuinely hoped they would take my feedback constructively to avoid such issues for other patrons. However, the manager’s indifferent attitude was disappointing, and it seemed as though customer feedback wasn’t valued because they assume people will continue to visit regardless.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their service and ensure a better dining experience for everyone.
