We had a nice brunch on Sunday mid day. Service was a 4.5, the food was a solid 3.75. We shared eggs Benedict and pancakes with my wife. The portion size was good and everything was cooked well. My son's buffalo chicken salad was nice and fresh and large portion. My daughter in law had a wrap and she was very happy with that. Although crowded service was excellent.

Terrible experience at Scramblers Cafe on Independence. My family of 4 arrived about 9:45am and were sat down to wait for an open table. A table opened up right next to the hostess where we were sat during a previous visit. A party of 3 arrives after us and the hostess (the older lady) gives them the seat while my family continues to wait. It gets worse. We were finally offered a seat (maybe 10 mins later) in an area that had a LEAK coming out of the ceiling. At this point I told the older hostess that I saw her sit a family that arrived after us and I thanked her for her time and we left. I'm not saying I'll never go back but that left a bad taste in my mouth for this location.

Unless you have money to burn, RUN from this place!!! If I could give 0 stars I would Son and his gf went to breakfast there this morning . Son ordered combo platter that came with sausage and bacon. Waiter asked if he wanted the como or only bacon and he said all bacon. He also asked for extra pancake. When the bill came there was a $4 up charge for every change and 4.00 each for a cup of regular coffee. When he asked at checkout about the up charges. He was told that's the way we go things here. NEVER AGAIN

HUGO makes the perfect over medium eggs - I don't know when I have a more perfect egg ! The service here is always exceptional ! We had four generations with us - and everyone from 3 to 96 years old were really happy with their meal and the service we received ! Definitely a place you should try at least once !

I had a decent dining experience here today. My party totaled four, 2 adults and twins. We came around 12 noon and were seated immediately. We were served water while we looked over the menu. I ordered the New Yorker (potato pancakes topped with NY Pastrami, poached eggs, and Hollandaise sauce). My order came out pretty quickly, in about 8 minutes. My meal was average because the hollandaise sauce tasted like a mix of melted Cheese Whiz and American cheese, the pastrami wasn't the best either. I'm actually from NYC I know great pastrami, for the New Yorkers reading this think Katz Deli for example. Everyone else's meals were good to them however. My wife had the Hash Stack HASH STACK (Hash Browns topped with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, gravy and cheese) which came with cinnamon toast. I had a bite off it was pretty good. I would recommend this dish, because the different flavors come together in a scrumptious way. My kids had the Cowboy omelette (Bacon, ham, sausage, Monterey Jack cheese, and cheddar cheese) with two stacks of pancakes and the cinnamon French toast off of the kids menu. They both enjoyed their meals I had a bite of the Cowboy omelette and it was delicious but too salty and just perfectly cooked. I can see myself coming back here for brunch and I would recommend Scrambler Cafe, the service wasn't bad. The service on my visit wasn't exceptional, but since the food came out fast and we were seated immediately I was pleased with the service.

Wow! Perfect Avacado Benny. The coffee had body and bold but wasn't bitter. Friendly staff. The kitchen crew turned our quick stop into a memorable afternoon. Thank you Miguel, Hugo, Manuel and all who prepared our food; it was delicious. We arrived at 2:15 and they closed at 3 on Saturday, good seating, cute decorations. Nicely done, Scrambler Cafe.

Best breakfast and staff in Plano! What a wonderful group of people who work here. We hit this place about once per week: the location is great, my coffee cup is always full and I just love the Bacado omelette. Some of my buddies get berry pancakes and they look amazing! Give it a try!

Fantastic breakfast/brunch venue with ton of options. Staff was excellent and service was prompt. They are super crowded on weekends. We tried their berry pancakes, French toast and vegi scrambled eggs. Portions are huge and they serve pancake on the side as well.

Good food and service. Fresh and generous portions at a fair price with many options to choose from on the menu. Lots of comfortable booth seating.

Mediocre place with overpriced scrambled eggs. Run of the mill “cafe”.

I've heard so many great things about this breakfast and lunch spot, and I decided to give it a try this rainy and gloomy Sunday morning. My dining partner and I were greeted promptly and sat at a comfortable table overlooking the shiplap feature wall. The decor was very neutral with turquoise and gray, soft 80s music playing, and lovely smells wafting through the air. My dining partner ordered the chorizo skillet and chose the marble rye bread to accompany his entree. I chose the Cowboy omelet with hashbrowns and pancakes on the side. I immediately knew this was going to be a good dining experience when the server Jon dropped off real maple syrup and real butter before our entrees arrived. The quality of the food was exceptional! Everything arrived in a short time and was extremely delicious. My omelet was full of bacon, ham, and sausage filling along with the two cheeses it came with. The pancakes were on point, melting in your mouth with buttery maple goodness. My only complaint is the distance we had to travel from Farmers Branch, but let me tell ya, it was so worth it!!
