DISCLAIMER: I have only ever gotten hot pot only, never the hot pot + BBQ option. I've eaten at Seapot several times already, so it's time for a review. I appreciate the variety of ingredients you can get, especially at their sauce station. Most other hot pot places I've tried have a very small and basic sauce station, but at Seapot the sauce possibilities are probably endless. Servers are attentive, and personally I like the music they play, so I believe Seapot has good atmosphere. As long as they don't change, I'll keep returning.

The seating process and line are annoying.
The food was all quite good. The included items at the salad bar were a big surprise. I was expecting low quality and was shocked at how tasty everything was.
The ambiance is kind of cool, but deafeningly loud. The crash of plates combined with the chatter of patrons was hard to overcome. I had to shout to be heard by the person across from me.
Prices are reasonable, I went with the hot pot only. Adding BBQ would have been too much food.

Great experience eating here! Plenty of asian food options for your taste buds. Can be a bit overwhelming if you get both the grill and hot pot, but we were able to adapt thanks to the server. Definitely a must visit if you in the Plano/Richardson area.

Place has undesirable smell the moment I walked in which attached to my clothes and hair. Dark. Not clean. Nice variety of sauces but sauce area is not well maintained. Food quality is below par. One small grill for a large group (8) and given only 90 minutes to dine. Dining experience was rushed. Will not return and have already shared my disappointment with friends.

Seccond time here with my family. Exelent everything . Except I saw you saying that we should go call and try to get on the list to not have a long wait when I did. I was given a very short answer and hung up on no explanation no nothing nevertheless we did go. Food was great. our waiter was great atmosphere was awesome . Would definitely recommend. I did mention to the manager about the phone call. He said he would look into it other than that great place.
