I recently visited Shanghai Taste and had a fantastic experience. If you're craving authentic shanghai cuisine, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like a hidden gem. The staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service from start to finish, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
As for the food, I tried the stir-fried noodles and fried chicken, both of which were delicious. The stir-fried noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning and a great balance of flavors. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making each bite incredibly satisfying.
Overall, Shanghai Taste is a great spot for anyone who loves authentic Shanghainese food. The service, food quality, and atmosphere all came together to create a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from their menu!

This tiny little place is perfectly quaint and intimate. My husband and I stopped in for lunch because we wanted some authentic Chinese food (not just fried rice and orange or teriyaki chicken). Theres wonton soup was wonderful. The fried shrimp appetizer had a very tasty glaze and was perfectly crispy. The pork buns were amazing! I then decided I wanted to try their chocolate dumplings. They were such a nice light dessert treat! Not super filling but definitely satisfies the sweet tooth. Greta place!

Food is clean and appetizing, I recommend you all to try the Xiaolongbao. The skin of Xiao Long Bao is very thin, the beef is delicious when fried, and it is filled with soup. The new pork with dried plums and vegetables also goes well with rice. I like it👍🏻

Despite being a smaller storefront, Shanghai Taste makes up for it in flavor. There's many choices in the DFW area for soup dumplings or pan fried bao but few if any are as good as the ones from Shanghai Taste. Carby and full of liquid these two dishes don't disappoint.
I fly into Dallas once a month and I found this place about 3 months ago and I make sure I come back everytime I’m in Dallas. The food here is delicious and packed with flavor! I’m super picky with Chinese food especially growing up my family owns a Chinese restaurant!
