It's aiiiiight ... in a good way. The shrimp poboy sandwich was the standard fare: golden shrimp, dressed NOLA style (LTM condiments), plus sliced pickles and onions that I removed. I like that there are options to order this sandwich with the shrimp not fried. The fries were seasoned by way of being beer battered. They have this seasoned ranch called kitchen sink. I'm not a ranch dressing person, but they should consider taste testing then selling bottles of that as salad dressing. They have these crab stuffed tater tots. I enjoyed the tots like they weren't stuffed, so that means ketchup did the trick. Good service. Definitely a place I will return to on a late night.
*Update Nov 2025 I recently visited and had the catfish. The fillet wasn't warm and it didn't taste fresh towards the tail end. Minus 2 stars. Catfish Friday was a bummer.

I went to Shell Shack to celebrate my birthday, and it did not disappoint! One of my best friends and niece took me there. It was my first time dining there . The customer service was fantastic from start to finish. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and our waiter made the experience even better with great energy and friendly conversation. He even surprised me with a slice of cheesecake for my birthday — such a thoughtful touch! I’ll definitely be back and they stay open very very late! I didn’t know that.

Right at the entrance, I was greeted by a warm hello from T, he gave a really good service throughout my whole experience. He was very thorough with explaining the options on the menu and gave great suggestions as well.
