The owner was very welcoming. The food was really good gives you homemade vibes. Kebabs are extra but he offered us free kababs. Overall experience was amazing.

This is a buffet. There were very few items and most items had mostly potatoes. There was only one dessert(halwa) in the entire buffet and it was quite bad. The reason I gave two stars is because the service was very pleasant. The host is very passionate. However, I just don’t see the value for food and for the price, there are better options.
Edit: I recently noticed the owner’s response and I found it rude, especially after I had praised him for his service and passion. DOUBLESTRIKE. Not only a number of his statements were untrue (how did he correlate this google ID to the person he spoke to and saw going to the buffet several times?), it only reiterates my point that he had less items which he masks under the disguise of “quality”.
Edit 2: I gave my name at a restaurant? Unlikely, you might’ve got it from my credit card. Regardless, you remembered days later after my first review let alone years later at the time of my first edit? Makes total sense.

I learned about this place from an r/plano thread where someone commented that the chicken kebab are really tender. My son is a very picky eater and we wanted to expose him to a different type of cuisine. Fortunately it worked, he ate both the chicken drumsticks from the buffet as well as the made-to-order kebabs. I tried a bite of the chicken kebab and agree that it was quite tender. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. We hope to visit again when we are in the area.

Great, friendly service. The staff were very generous. It was my first time having chicken kebab and it was excellent. Will have to come again to try the gyro and Turkish coffee.
Quick lunch stop here during our visit to Dallas. We were very warmly greeted by the owner who explained us the choices. We went with the buffet option which was $15 pp and $8 for the kids. We added Beef kafta kebab and chicken for $3 each. Buffet had pretty good options of salads, falafel, rice, chicken and beef satay and more. We were also served with hot pita. Kebab and chicken both were juicy and flavorful.

I recently visited Sofra Kebab House and had a wonderful experience. The owners are Turkish and very welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel warm and authentic. The open buffet had a great variety of delicious dishes, all fresh and full of flavor. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for genuine Turkish hospitality and food. Highly recommended!
