Small sized Indian grocery store with limited parking space in front. Not easily found as it is a bit inside from the main road. Farm produce options are very limited.

Ordered RRR Chicken and RRR Paneer as they had a special on Wednesday! Both of them for medium spicy, they tasted pretty good and had decent heat. It is not different from other appetizers, it does taste similar to chicken 65!

On September 13, 2023 and I got a promotion text from spice rack running a special. It was Methi chicken and methi malai paneer for $7.00 each. After ordering both, I found out that they used the same gravy for both dishes. There were only 5 small pieces of chicken in the dish. The Methi chicken dish gravy is usually green in color so obviously I know they had a lot of left over and decided to mix the same gravy into both the dishes. THIS IS A CHEAP STUNT.I would rather pay regular price and get quality food.DON’T FALL FOR THE PROMOTION TEXTS ANYMORE GUYS.

It was my first experience ordering a take out from this place in the evening today. I ordered a chicken, prawn appetizer. Both of them tasted pretty mediocre. One thing to note in the chicken dum biryani I ordered, there were only two small pieces and it was very disheartening Even though the biryani is slightly lower priced compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood, the taste was was average.Would not go again.

I ordered the butter chicken dish via a food delivery app from my work. Food came in on time and it had a great flavor. I didn't know that it didn't come with some sort of bread or rice. I wish it would have come with that. I will know next time to order one of them to compliment my meal.I would eat here again.

My favorite place for boneless Hyderabadi dum biryani and onion samosas! Been having their biryani since about 2 years, glad I found this place

Chicken muglai & samosas was excellent... moderately spicy & tasty. Would high recommend these dishes. Ambiance is ok but not better to carry out the food. Service was a bit slow..

We selected Spice Rack's Banquet Hall for the Annual Diwali party of the Indian community living in our sub-division after an extensive due diligence of about 8 venues across Dallas metro area. We picked Spice Rack since the venue was a good fit across various parameters - size of the venue, overall look and feel, choice of cuisine, flexibility of the venue in accommodating small requests, proximity etc. Niranjan, who was our POC, was approachable and worked with our requirements along the way - whether it was decision on food, enabling us early access on the day of the event to get the venue decked up and making sure that he was around at the venue when our event was happening. This was one of the reasons why we decided not to go with another venue (Roma Palace) since the person responsible for the banquet hall was just not responsive. The venue can hold around 170 people, our event was sold out fully. It has been around for a while and hence there is a bit of wear and tear that is evident (which is why my rating is not a 5) but for the price point and the service, it does offer good value for money. The food was spot on - we had Spring rolls, Chilli Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, Malai Kofta, Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Tadka, Veg biriyani with raita, White rice, Papad, Shaahi Gulab Jamun and supplemented this with ice cream & Soda which we purchased from outside. All of the dishes were very good - Paneer dishes had enough and more Paneer in them which is often an issue at Banquet halls. In fact, Chilli Paneer just had Paneer and sauces - again something we find lot of restaurants do is to add onions and bell peppers. When the event was over, Niranjan's team provided us zip loc bags to take the food home and for dishes that had sizable quantity, they even provided disposable trays to take the food home. That showed the focus on making sure that customers walked out happy in every sense. The 2 staff members who were allocated to support our event were also very nice and cordial, they worked hard to make sure that food was replenished in a timely fashion.Niranjan also gave us coordinates of DJ's who work with Spice Rack. We found our DJ for the day, Sameer, though this list. Sameer also did an excellent job and was easy to work with. All in all, it was a fun event for our community members and we are happy with the choice of venue which was a big part of the equation.

The place to go for authentic Indian spices

Strange encounter - I did not feel valued as a customer. At checkout the cashier refused to take money from me. I placed on the counter and she left it there. She then proceeded to place all the change on counter. At first I thought it was Covid related but she wasn't wearing a mask. She didn't bag the items, didn't bother to hand me the items or utter a word either. I took my items and change off the counter and left. I did not feel valued as a customer.
