With the new lunch special price, this place is the best Chinese style hotpot for lunch. They have better quality meats than the same price range competitor. They also have dried chili powder mixed, which is my favorite condiment for dipping.

Amazing price with servers that are fluent in both English and Chinese. Servers always have excellent attitude and will never rush you whenever you’re ordering or eating. The $20/$30 lunch/dinner special is of exceptional value and pairs great with $40 prices of all you can eat USA Wagyu.

Square Hot Pot - A Fantastic Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Square Hot Pot in Plano, and it was a truly great experience from start to finish!
The ambiance of the restaurant is really inviting, with a classic hot pot feel. The lanterns and brick walls create a warm and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a meal with friends or family.
But of course, the food is the star! The selection of meats was impressive, with beautifully presented plates of thinly sliced beef, including what looked like delicious short ribs and sukiyaki-style cuts. The quality was evident, and everything was incredibly fresh.
They also offer a good variety of other hot pot essentials, including fresh greens like lettuce and an assortment of other items such as seafood (mussels and squid), tofu, and various hot pot balls. And for those who enjoy other dishes, the Gyūdon was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked beef and onions over rice, topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
The hot pot itself was excellent, with a flavorful broth. I especially loved the unique touch of the dragon-head tongs, adding a cool element to the dining experience.
Overall, Square Hot Pot delivers a fantastic hot pot experience. Great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and attentive service make it a must visit in Plano. Highly recommend!

The place seems to have changed hands, and they're doing things differently...and not in a good way. Now charging extra for eating alone because ???, the meat quality was OK, but did not justify the higher prices they're now charging. And the drinks are just...in a bowl to fish out.

Not wagyu not prime not even us choice quality of meat. beef very tough. Not good experience poor quality meat. One pic shrimp scallop per person. Why call all you can eat
