This is our favorite places to go for special occasions. The Chilean Seabass is the best I have ever had. Their steaks are quite good as well. You can't go wrong with choosing anything on their menu.

Brian was attentive without hovering, knew the menu inside and out, and made smart recommendations such as the Salmon that turned out to be spot-on. Now the food—this is where Steven Fields separates itself. The steaks are simply incredible and the peppercorn sauce a ten. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully seared, and cooked exactly to temperature. You can taste the quality in every bite. The sides don't feel like afterthoughts either—they complement the meal instead of getting lost behind it. And if you're a dessert person, don't skip it. The carrot cake and crème brûlée are both next-level. Yes-we had both! Everything felt intentional—from the ambiance to the pacing of the meal. It's the kind of place that turns a dinner into a memory. Whether it's a date night, celebration, business dinner, or just treating yourself because life is short, Steven Fields delivers.

if you love Stone crabs, this is the place to go as good as anything they have in Florida, including Joe's Stone Crabs.  Steve has them flown in every week and they're prepared perfectly served cold on ice cracked properly and the sauce is perfection!

As always, excellent food and stellar service. Kevin is is the best server we've ever had! Love the food, the attention to detail, and always a bonus when Steve Feilds comes by the table. You won't find anything better in Dallas than Steve Feild's steakhouse!!!

Celebrated my wife's 80th birthday and our waiter was Kevin. He was stupendous throughout the entire experience and very professional and friendly. He kept or glasses full without us having to ask and checked on us frequently to be sure we didn't need anything. Beautiful setting. A bit loud and noisy as the tables are close to each other and some people don't seem to speak in normal tones. But the food was superb preparation and taste. And very courteous of Kevin to supply us with take home bag. Will definitely return and ask for Kevin. Highly recommend

Steve Fields never disappoints! Steaks cooked to perfection, red fish special was fantastic, and the decadent chocolate cake for the birthday celebration! Had a great server, Steve, who treated us very well, as always!

Service with a Smile. Wonderful smiles all across from the moment you enter the restaurant till you leave. Makes the dinner a rather enjoyable experience.

Ordered a medium rare filet with crab and shrimp topping, it comes with a baked potato on same place. Discovered it was rare about 3 bites in. Plate was taken and returned without topping or remaining baked potato. Had to ask and was given sauce only (no crab or shrimp) and another baked potato and then told at end of meal that I wouldn't have to pay for that second potato! Ha. Very disappointing. They did comp the asparagus side that came extremely late so I guess that is something. Won't ever go back.

It has been several years since my last visit to Steve Fields. Sadly, that visit did not go well as the food was subpar. Our server was very good but her care could not over come the dismal food. In great contrast, this visit was tremendous. The service and food were excellent. Cost was pricey but there was value in the presentation and taste. Our birthday dessert was deliciously decadent.

Fortunately, we sat next to a wall that helped woth the noise. Not really a big deal because they weren't as busy when we got there, but it got busier and louder.

First time at SF for a birthday dinner, we didn’t realize they closed at 8:30, and got there a little before 8. Our server, Joe, and the entire staff displayed some of the best customer service. He was patient, explained the menu and catch of the day, as well as brought out a cake for the birthday girl at the end of our dinner. I am 100% returning to this nice establishment.
