Great service and good!
This was an experience to remember, we were the only ones there at that time and they treated us so well. We ate before going in the movie because we were super early but the food was amazing.
Food was okay high priced for what it is but I get the convenience . Movie was great. Wish there was quicker response when the waiters were called as we had issues with disturbances during our time. Over all would likely visit again.
They removed the buffalo chicken pizza. I have sent emails to customer support, they did hear my feedback. But I have not, and will not go back to SMG until they get that back. It was the only main entre item on the menu that my wife and I enjoyed. I typically go to movies with my family 1-2 times a month and spend between $110 and $120 each time we go. The only reason to go to SMG over cinemark is for the food, but without the good food, there is 0 reasons. I have a membership with Cinemark, and haven't been back to SMG since the removal of the pizza.
First time visiting this theater and I went to try something new. The ticket price was cheaper than other theaters—I’m not sure if it was because of the movie we chose or if it’s always that way, but it was a very good price ($7.58 kids and adults). Inside, the food prices weren’t bad either. The kids’ combo was very good, the burgers we ordered were tasty, and the French fries were delicious—definitely recommended. Everything looked fresh and appetizing.
If you order popcorn, make sure to ask in advance if you want it without the liquid butter, because otherwise they add it by default. Personally, I prefer mine without it, and they were delicious. The bathrooms were clean, and the sound in the auditoriums was excellent. The seats aren’t reclining like in other theaters, and I felt they were a bit upright, but still comfortable.
The in-seat service is already included in your order (about 18%), so I recommend ordering food and drinks directly from your seat. If you order at the counter, you’re basically wasting both time and the included service. Take advantage of it and let them pamper you. Staff were very friendly. I enjoyed everything, so it’s 5 stars from me. I’m also sharing the food ticket so you can see what I spent.
Great experience
This is my family's favorite place to see a film ... from the comfortable seats to the tasty treats to the great drinks (alcoholic and not), it's a great time. And, now that they offer lower prices, it's a deal.
Scoop of pasta is $30 😒
This is a wonderful movie theater. I've been twice with my kids and both times I've received exceptional service for the dining experience. It is clean and comfy. The screen size and sound was satisfactory, perhaps better than some Cinemark movie theater rooms. I typically don't like mandatory tips but the employees here really earn it. They are friendly and polite and my order was correct and delicious both times. I highly recommend the lime chicken salad and honey pepperoni pizza. It's nice to pamper yourself and your family from time to time. It feels that way here.
The seats don’t recline and are the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced. I left within 5 minutes and they refused to give me a refund.

SMG has severely downgraded over the years. The food used to be better. The seats used to be better. It was awful. The worst movie theater experience possibly, ever. I'm 25, yet you'd think I was 97 from the back pain I endured from the horrible chairs. I had to move seats twice. The first time I moved was because the chair I selected originally, was broken, tilted forward. The second time I moved was from unbearable upper back pain. I had to move to the “handicap” rolly office chair, just to get through the movie and not walk out. I couldn't be paid to go back in the current conditions the place is under. The only pro is that it was all so bad, it was comical. We surely wont forget the experience and both my partner and I agreed to never go back. We made a joke that due to those terrible chairs SMG will have a class action lawsuit for spinal pain. Lol. Save your evening and go literally anywhere else.
We went for date night on. Thursday! What a great way to start the weekend off! Had the place to ourselves besides one other couple! Haven’t been to a movie theater in years! Definitely a great experience! Great food and service with some pretty amazing specials!
Not as good as I remember. Haven’t been here for several years and it seems a bit rundown, at least in the theater we were in. The screen had some sort of damage, and it was repaired with clear tape. Hardly noticeable before the movie, but had a black line down the left side of the screen for any light scenes in the movie. Once you see it, it’s distracting. Food was ok, tasty but not something that would bring me back. All of the employees that I had interaction with were very nice. These people would bring me back before the food.
Overall it was…meh. Not fantastic, but it didn’t ruin my night or movie (except for that damn tear)
I usually go to the one on Royal Ln and 75 this time u when to the one in Plano like always no complaints love this place is more quieter then the regular theaters and still very affordable took my date to see her movie choice how to train a dragon I'll be back like always,
Great service and food. Highly recommend.
