Too late to make it home for dinner, my wife and I elected to try out Sun Lok Kee BBQ. Initially, I was enthusastic as Chinese BBQ sounded exciting. Walked in and the place was clean and the hostess kind and friendly. I ordered springrolls and the BBQ pork and chicken. My wife ordered the cashew chicken. The springrolls were not very good. Didn't taste fresh. The BBQ pork and chicken was good, but not great. My wife loved the cashew chicken, which came with white rice. Ultimately, the bill comes out and it's $80. Minimum 18% tip, made is $100. $100 for this type of meal is not a good value for not amazing food.

I used to be a regular customer here and have been here many times before! I was SHOCKED when my To-Go order was absolutely HORRIBLE quality food. The Chinese bbq pork was inedible & the watercress vegetables were over cooked and soggy. This food was obviously old, stale, and the Chinese bbq pork seemed days old. I’m so upset, because I used to come here all the time. I called and they did not answer me multiple times, they also never said sorry for the bad quality. They just lost a couple Chinese family customers….

the experience is extremely inconvenient. The clerks didn’t tell us until we are ready to check out, saying that they can only accept cash right now due to “internet issue”. So they made us go out of our way to get cash from an ATM. Will not dine here again.

I LOVE this place! I have not had Chinese food in years due to moving after college, but I was so happy to eat the lunch special here! The quantity of food for the price is good. I got general tsos chicken and my favorite part was the vegetables in the dish! I am so happy I found this place because I have missed Chinese food so much, and I can't wait to go back! The service is great here. I am definitely recommending everyone I know to check this place!

SOOOO GOOD! I was with a big group of 12 people, got 10 dishes and it was only $15 a person. The Singaporean noodles, spicy pork chops, string beans, and mapo tofu were our faves but honestly everything was amazing!!! And they were so accommodating! Definitely recommend for big groups!

Excellent service. Delicious Chinese food, we like the Singapore rice noodle (spicy) & sesame chicken. Very reasonable price, esp 3 or 4 dishes bundle. Not crowded during weekend. Will visit again.

Went for Christmas dinner as they were one of the few places open on Christmas. They were quite busy with a lot of takeout orders going on at the same time as dine-in, but service was good and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated or order. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They allow BYOB, so we took our own drinks to enjoy with the food.

Service was extraordinary. The roasted duck was delicious. We went for lunch on a weekday and the menu was super limited. The egg noodles were not the type I’m used from Cantonese restaurants. The other dishes we order were just OK, but Maybe it’s much better during the weekend when there is more people eating.

Got some fairly authentic Cantonese Chinese food here, which is not easy to find in DFW. But the location and decorations are old; may not be enticing to some customers.Updated 8/2022: new owner last few months, after suddenly stopped opening for few months. As you'd expect, some things better, some things worse. I'd observe longer to comment. For what I eat, I don't mind going.

Update. New management but same great chef!. And the pace is busier and takes credit cards now!Great place!! The BBQ pork and roast duck is amazing! ?I love their beef chow fan and everything is really good. Fast service and well spread but for those concerned with COVID.It's our go to for excellent Chinese food!

The food is actually pretty amazing!I always thought this place was Korean! I've been passing it for 6+ years!!My recommendation to the owners. You are in a great location and have great food .Get a landscaper to work on the outside it's ugly.Get a sign company to redo your outdoor signs. They are old. Get rid of all the paper signs.Americans don't want to see their roasted ducks. Put them in the back.Solicit online reviews.Great food. I'll definitely be back!

Ordered Beef Chow Fun, BBQ Pork/Roast Duck Noodle Soup and Chicken Egg Roll.Beef Chow Fun was just alright. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️It could use more wok hei & it tastes a little bland. The best part: beef itself was nice and juicy.BBQ pork & roast duck noodle soup. ⭐️ ⭐️BBQ pork could be sweeter and it was dry. Roast duck tastes a little stale. I have a feeling both were cooked previous day. Noodle texture was good but broth was bland. The bak choy they use as garnish was overcooked. I wouldn’t order this dish again.Chicken Egg Roll ⭐️⭐️. It was rather bland, dry, yet quite oily. It’s an afterthought & forgettable dish.I give overall 2 stars because they also charges 3% if we pay using credit card. Very antiquated business model - it shows how the restaurant owner is being thrifty - which is apparent with the way they executed the dishes.I don’t think I will go back here.

Good chinese bbq. Food is good. Only one server/ cook when we went there, so they made a mistake with one of our order but did not bother to change it. Since there is only one worker I can understand why he made the mistake. Most orders were to go orders. We are one of 2 customers that dine in that day.
