Food was okkkkk. Might be kind of awkward if you don't speak mandarin. Also cash only and felt kind of unclean I fear this place.

Such nice people, aim to please, do what they do. Crazy cheap prices. Very spicy food or not and love their boba drinks. Ready to go when you arrive so very fast to eat there.

The food here gives me the feeling of eating at a college cafeteria. They are super generous on the food so the portion you get is huge. If you dine in, there is also soup you can get it yourself. I think the soup changes daily because I have been here two times and already tasted two different types of soups. So many different dishes to choose from. One thing to note that this place is cash only. The place is big with lots of tables and seating areas. Very fast service as well.

Very affordable cultural comfort foods. The food is good. Dropped a star for furniture. The tables are wobbly and the metal serving trays are bowed out (not sure if intentional).

I have been going there for more than 15 years, and recently I have reached a point of certainty that I will not go back. Prices have risen to where it’s not as good value. Food quality has gone down. Depending on the server, portions are small. Time before last, I asked for 3 cup chicken and got all bones. My daughter’s favorite:fried chicken strips were on the back counter - they never offered it up when it was my turn to choose. The meat ball, “Lion Head”, is so bland. Soup has become so diluted. It used to have more veggies, even seaweed. The male owner is stingy and stern, like I am bothering him, because my Chinese is limited. The female owner and younger server are more friendly and generous. We have also ordered breakfast there before, but the fried buns were just so-so.

This is a hidden gem. The food tastes amazing and the portions are very generous. We buy Chinese donuts too and they are so crispy. Give them a try, you won’t get disappointed.

Honestly Taiwan Cafe is a great restaurant. It is only $10 for the 3 entree meal which also comes with rice. Important note is it’s cash only, but there is a lot of food so it’s worth jt. They even have soup you can get on the side which is awesome. Id highly recommend to others
