I really didn’t know that such a delicious restaurant only has less than 4 stars. The white meat with garlic paste is delicious, the cucumber is delicious, the grilled fish is delicious, the beef is delicious, almost all have taste.

It slapped multiples times. Each time is a true slapper.

Food was great but the guests are very loud and disturbing. Servers don’t speak English at all.

The food was good and quickly served. They have limited wine or beer selections. Their chili oil dumpling was delicious. Cabbage and lotus were average and chili ? peppered beef and chicken were great. Their restroom was also very clean.

Very authentic Szechuan food. The owner and cook are all from Szechuan region. Highly recommend to those who are seeking the authentic Szechuan taste.

During my three-day visit to Dallas for the solar eclipse, I had the pleasure of dining at Tai Zong, which quickly became my favorite culinary destination. This upscale eatery delivers an authentic Sichuan experience, and each dish I ordered was a delight. The Sautéed Pig Feet with Pepper was a revelation, masterfully blending the heat of spicy pepper with the pungent aroma of garlic, creating a palate-expanding adventure. The Stewed Beef in Red Wine was nothing short of divine, offering a heavenly tenderness in the flank cut that married well with the depth of the red wine reduction.Their House Special Chicken in Hot Pot could be described as a superior twist on the classic three cup chicken, providing a rich and satisfying flavor profile. Lastly, theBraised Baby Cabbage in Broth was a celebration of simplicity, highlighting the tender heart of the vegetable in a clear, nourishing broth that was both healthy and flavorful. Each dish at Tai Zong is a testament to the rich and diverse offerings of Sichuan cuisine, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Best Chinese food in Plano! Show up here hungry, or bring a bunch of friends, because the portions are generous.

Please ignore the poor reviews. Tai Zong serves delicious, beautifully presented, spicy, oily Sichuan cuisine in a gorgeous and warm space. It is a bit pricy, sure, but so worth it. Easily the best Sichuan food to be had in Plano, and I've tried it all. Nobody there speaks English, so be patient, respectful, and ready to pull out whatever you remember from your Chinese courses in college. And hope you have Xiurong as your server; she is always kind and attentive and will remember you on your next visit. Negative reviews don't tell the whole story -- Tai Zong is a hidden gem. Give them a chance.
