Better than Wingstop (which is low on my list anyways) and a must have. Also the best lemon pepper I've had in Texas and the fries are good too. The only thing is WHEN they're open they close to early and they need to open more (there's only 2). I recommend calling before you go to make sure they're open and place a phone order.

Me and my husband bribe by this spot today! Came out here, drove about 1 1/2 drive to get here and the place looked deserted... Not a good sign for us! This is after we drove from the other location in The Colony which was also deserted. I told my husband not to even bother stopping. The reviews didn't help either! DON'T LET INSTAGRAM FOOL YOU! Lesson learned....

I have driven by a few times and actually read the sign and wanted to try it. It was awesome. To many flavors to choose from that is my only complaint. I didn't read what all came with my chicken so I got two orders of fries. Veru filling and tasted amazing I definitely recommend it.

Chicken tenders with sauce are really good, although I would probably get mine on the side since I like a bit less sauce. Chicken sandwich was nothing special. Just bread and chicken with a sauce or rub. Fries with sauce are good.

I heard about this place from someone who posted rave reviews online on the Nextdoor App. I read their article in the local Plano Community Impact newspaper last night. The owner is from Louisiana and is serving Louisiana Style Chicken Wings and Strips. They offer Shrimp, Catfish and Beignets too! I called today about 15 mins before they closed and the owner, Terral "Hollaback" T. Slack took my order. I was sorry they were out of shrimp and catfish. Drove there a waited. There was some confusion because the front cashier asked if anyone in the kitchen took an order. No response. He verified it again and finally someone said they had it. I know It was a few mins before closing, but the order ticket should have been in the kitchen (I was about 5 mins away when I placed the order). Finally got my order and Terral said he gave me some extra chicken wings and also took off the beignets. I was wearing my Southeastern Louisiana Lions Shirt, so maybe I got a Louisiana Discount! (Lol). Got home and my Louisiana wife just started eating the beignets first! So Good! They serve a side of a caramel dipping sauce. These were the BEST since I had some drone Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter. The Chicken Tenders were HUGE! Bigger pieces than other popular chains. The come with over 50 different types of sauces. I think mine had a blueberry type sauce. Yes, it sounds weird (my wife did not care for it), but it was good. The chicken wings were good, but thought they were small. They were good, but nothing like the chicken tenders. The fries had some nice sauce and seasoning too. The tree adults in our house ate everything up! Hits: The Food. We wanted to eat some chicken that was NOT from a chain. This was great. Loved the Beignets which I think is the star on the menu! Give me some New Orleans Community Coffee and nice weather, and you could be sitting outside. Misses. Working out the kinks. Nobody knew where my order was. I was the only customer there. I got home and Terral apologized to me on the phone that they left off two orders of fries. Recommendations: I wish the employees could all wear a signature uniform shirt (maybe with the Tasty Chicken logo). I would place a larger banner or signage in front by the patio. Some of the landscaping needs to be trimmed. I know the struggles of running a business (I used to manage a Sonic Drive In for years while working my way through school. This business is on a former Sonic Lot). COVID-19 is hurting a lot of local business owners. This is a Family and Black Owned Business, so I would encourage you and recommend to try out Tasty's Chicken,

I happened to hear about Tasty’s on a black owned business post on Facebook. The pictures alone had me hungry. We drove all the way from Tyler to Plano to try it and we were NOT disappointed! The owner greeted us himself and the service was amazing. VERY ACCOMMODATING. Now the FOOD tasted like it was made by God himself. The seasoning was perfect. The chicken had a perfect crisp not to thick not to thin the wings were cooked to PERFECTION! Me and my husband hardly came up for air while eating. The owner even threw in extra meat and complimentary beignets since it was our first time! The beignets literally melt in your mouth! Told my husband next time he makes a trip to Dallas he better stop at Tasty’s or don’t even bother coming home!

Great chicken! So many flavors to choose from. It is fried to perfection, nice and crispy. Honestly one of the best chicken places in Dallas. Service is a little slow so call ahead. I definitely will be back!

Don't let the outside of the building fool you! this food is incredible and the service is awesome (I had a chance to speak to the owner and he is also expanding to The Colony will updating the current location in Plano) Great guy BTW... This is the only place where I like the chicken tenders better than the chicken wings. But whatever you do... you must try the New Orleans style Beignets (You will thank me later ?)
