This is def my fav seafood spot in the area bc it's consistently good. There have been a couple of incidents here but food has been on point. Tried the kicking crab in Plano, after the Dallas spot being recommended, recently and it was horrible experience. Have been to several diff spots too and the boiling crab def my go to bc the food and service will be good 9/10 times.

I guess I should’ve known better… but here we are again. I placed a to-go order while literally sitting in the parking lot, got the “ready for pickup” notification, walked inside, and somehow still ended up with cold crab legs and undercooked, rubbery shrimp. At this point, the only thing Boiling Crab Plano consistently gets right is… the corn. Congrats, I guess?
When I spoke to the female manager, she didn’t even pretend to care. Instead, she got instantly defensive and started rattling off some imaginary timeline that didn’t match reality. I was sitting right outside the entire time, but sure, go ahead and rewrite history. The dismissive attitude was honestly more disappointing than the cold seafood.
And what makes it worse? This isn’t even the first time. My family and I have dined in multiple times, and on several occasions our food still came out cold. So yes, we actually frequent this location, or at least we used to. You’d think being regulars would get us better service, not cold meals and incorrect excuses.
At this point, I’m done giving this Plano location the benefit of the doubt. If you decide to go, good luck, and maybe bring a thermometer and a backup meal. $57 plus dollars wasted for ICE COLD FOOD!

It’s always a great experience when we dine in. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is the bomb! It’s become a family favorite. We live almost an hour away and have yet to find another seafood spot as good as this one.

Not crawfish season but had to go anyway. Food is delicious. Staff is super friendly. Service is great. I love the Whole Sha-Bang sauce. The amount of garlic in their sauce and garlic butter will keep vampires away for months! And I am totally okay with that. I had shrimp, mussels and blue crab. EXCELLENT! My husband had a fried shrimp Po' Boy with the Crabber fries.....omgeeeee AMAZING! Hopefully that will hold me over till mudbug season! FYI......not cheap, but worth every penny!
