Our eight-person event at The Capital Grille was an excellent experience. The staff was patient on us when we were a bit slow to move from the bar (great drinks!) to the dining area. The wait staff was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They took care of our party members who had dietary restrictions and provided perfect accommodations. The food, as always, was terrific. It was perfectly cooked, beautifully served, and delicious. Thank you for making this business event a pleasure.

Liz was our server, and was outstanding!!! Some of my friends that were part of my party, were very needy and difficult to serve. Liz was a "class act", very professional, kind, and polite. She always smiled and was cheerful. She was a wonderful server, making our experience wonderful. Kudos to Liz!

Patrick provided a wait experience that exceeded expectations. Well done! The food was excellent and Paul and the kitchen staff added some extras for the 2 birthday persons at our table. A very nice touch and surprise. Overall a great place to celebrate our birthday with friends and the CG team.

We are frequent customers of The Capital Grille and every time we've been we've had a fantastic experience. Last night was VERY different. We requested a table in the Sun room/patio (which we got) but we had put in the reservation that we were celebrating a retirement and would like to have the table specially decorated like we have had in the past for special occasions (we've had confetti and a card on the table). The table was not decorated so there was nothing special about it. The service (compared to our other experiences) was awful. It was slow, barely got checked on outside of getting more water, and our food took forever to come out. Worst of all when the food did come out, each course we got was put down in front of the wrong person so we kept having to explain who had what and switch plates around. We are not generally complainers, but paying that much for a meal + when we have had outstanding experiences on our other visits, we definitely have a higher expectation than what we got last night.

Olivia (server) provided helpful menu item recommendations, ensuring the food met our expectations and checking in with us without being intrusive. My husband enjoyed the NY and I had the filet and shared the Brussels sprouts ALL were amazing! We will definitely be back, and definitely sitting in Olivia's section again.

This is my usual spot to bring partners for lunch. We love the service here but this time it was different. Usually you get a hot towel and if you order appetizers they serve it to everyone in the table. This time they didn't do that - I bring my partners here so they know their business is important to us and I like them to experience this high end lunch to appreciate them. So expecting a hot towel and to be served is priority to me and the business. Maybe it's time for a new spot? Not sure might give them one more try.

The only suggestion is for the kitchen to review the meat temperature, I ordered my dish medium and got it overcooked dry like well done… I was really hungry & didn’t wanted to return it and wait extra time

I had a scheduled interview at this restaurant at 2:30 PM. I arrived early, dressed professionally, and waited patiently. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged me or provided any update for nearly an hour. The manager finally showed up around 3:30 PM and he said nobody informed him that I was waiting for him.
This level of disorganization and lack of respect for someone’s time—especially in a professional context—speaks volumes about how the establishment is run. If this is how they treat potential team members, I can only imagine how they treat their staff and customers behind the scenes. Very disappointing experience.

This past week I've visited Bob's and Al Biernat's. AB's is excellent and there's nothing bad to say about it except it has more menu options which sets it apart from the CG and Bob's. I've been a bobs fan forever but The CG is a head above Bob's. Bobs in McKinney is so noisy that you can't carry on a conversation within your own table.
