I recently visited Galeto Cone Ice Cream in Plano, and I have to say, it was an amazing treat! The ice cream was creamy, rich, and reminded me so much of Turkish ice cream (dondurma) with its distinct texture and flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the similarity, especially since they haven’t promoted it as Turkish ice cream, but it definitely brought back those familiar tastes.
The flavors were delightful, and the texture was smooth with just the right amount of chewiness—exactly like the authentic dondurma experience. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t capitalized on marketing it that way!
If you're craving something unique and reminiscent of traditional Turkish ice cream, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing gelato. I have been 3 times each time getting Ferro Rocher cone. Service is exemplary and once when they were almost out of Ferro rocher gelato the server gave a scoop of it on the house. Good prices. It is close to a stage where musicians perform so that is a bonus.
