The word is horrible. I’ve never seen this kind of disrespectful service. Waste of money. And this restaurant cannot be considered as a fine Indian cuisine.

I would give 0 star if I could. Came with a hope it was Sanjay Kapoor's but turned out the paneer makhanwala was so horribly bald I couldn't put my mouth in it soon as I did. It tasted as though it was spoiled.

Considering it is a Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant decided to try besides mediocre reviews. Think 3.5 star review is very generous. Order take out for 2 ppl and order sarson ka saag, dum aloo, and assorted naan. The entires with supposed to come with rice so did not order separately. The saag was tasteless only salty and baking soda taste. dum aloo were large pieces of aloo in a grave which not enough for amount of potatoes. Naan had a bad aftertaste like made from old flour. All in all, complete waste of time and money. Extremely disappointing and will not return.

Absolutely amazing experience at Yellow Chili. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant that makes authentic fusion Indian food, look no further. Will be back soon. Thanks for the lovely evening.

We were 5 adults and a 1 yr old. Ordered for 2 malai kofta and 2 butter chicken and 5 garlic naan and 1 veggie platter and 1 non-veg platter and 2 passion fruit drinks, one gulab jam and one Gajar halwa. The bill was above $50 per person (for 5 people). Malai kofta was spicy, butter chicken sour. If you are Indian, you know these are not the regular flavors of these dishes. Exorbitant, not worth paying for.
This restaurant is so over-ratted and overpriced that I cannot express in words. There are atleast few hundred Indian restaurants in Dallas which are better than this one. We took chicken tandoori and asked them to make it spicy. What we got was a zero spice, zero salt chicken pieces. The quantity was so low, I cannot imagine how can someone give such small quantity for a full bird chicken tandoori. Guess what, Yellow chilli can go it, I can image the size of the chicken just by looking at the tandoori. Other dish we tried was Murg biryani. It was average for the price they have charged. After looking at the tandoori, I have no hopes on the quantity and quality of biryani. So, I was not surprised and have no expectation. Overall experience is pretty average and little over sad.

Appetizer was served without condiments :-( Ambiance not as expected and it's cheaper looking than take out places. Ordered Sham Savera and very disappointed to see 4 small paneer pieces wrapped in a minuscule amount of spinach in a big bowl of gravey. Laccha paratha tasted like a papad. Adhraki paneer is not tastier either. The only exception was Guava cocktail was really good. Overall we are very dis-appointed and won't be visiting this place again.

The yellow chili has the most delicious Murgh Biryani and the service is wonderful, I am very fortunate to find this jewel of North Indian cuisine!
