This new restaurant is in the Plano area and though South Indian, it is not Andhra/Telangana cuisine but cuisine from Tamil Nadu. We got the Malabar Chicken Curry (medium spice level) and their Thalpakattu Mutton Biriyani. The food is prepared to order so you may have to wait a bit but honestly worth it. The Chicken Curry packed good flavor and you could taste the coconut milk and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The spice level was between mild and medium but that enhanced the overall flavor of the curry. The Biriyani on the other hand was a bit spicy but not your burn-your-tongue spicy and packed great flavors. The meat was cooked very well. My wife who is not a biriyani person took a second helping, which means a lot. The restaurant is clean and bright and the furniture/fixtures are new. The service is personal. Seems to be a family-run business. All the best and I hope they do well.

Dosa night was an absolute delight! The dosas were meticulously crafted, exuding an authentic flavor that transported me straight to the streets of South India. The chutney, a perfect accompaniment, struck a harmonious balance of tanginess and spice. Standouts included the crispy onion dosa and the delectable masala dosa, both bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. An evening well spent, savoring every bite of these delectable delights with family. Heading to Town desis again this weekend!

We mainly visited this place to try out dosas and were thrilled to check it out since it was unlimited with many varieties. We tried the onion (big pieces of onion sprinkled on top), podi dosa, Mysore masala dosa, ghee masala dosa, cheese dosa, chocolate dosa. We tried them all in 2 -3 hours and had to stand in a line to gather the dosas. While the options provided are creative and numerous, but the dosa does not feel authentic or desi. It feels like store brought batter. There could be more than one person doing the dosa since we stood in line for dosa for longer time compared to our eating time with friends and family. Coconut chutney feels watered down. Although unlimited option, unlikely I would come back to try any more dosas.

We ordered Dahi Puri and other chat items. The dahi puri was so bad. They only filled puris with Dahi and potato which tasted stale and the puri’s shell smelled and tasted weird and bad. Wouldn’t

Visited there on a thursday evening for live dosa night.. Overallgood experience from the taste perspective. I'm sure it's a new setup, so the owner is still working on logistics. One input staff should look frequently if some supply needs to ve refilled. I had to request a couple of times to refill sambhar and tea.Overall, it was a good experience. Best wishes.

Tiffins buffet was good. Worth the price. Very few restaurants include masala tea as oart of the buffet and this is one among them. Kesari and masala tea were the best. Liked the service. Sambar added taste to all the items.
