Place was pretty good! Loved the cummin fish fillers. The pork belly was a good dish too followed with the tendon noodle soup but the service was great, can't complain really. Maybe a suggestion for the servers, fill up with customers drinks and be proactive about it rather than wait for them to ask. Definitely recommend trying the place though.

I ordered beef fried rice and was very disappointed. I am not a cook, but I can do better than this. The rice has no soy sauce, barely no meat and raw vegetables.

omg a total gem. many of the other reviews rave about the noodles. i got the h1 which is noodles only with some veggies and oil. hint mix the noodles with the oil in the bottom of the bowl occasionally as it collects there. i also got the chinese hamburger with pork and it was good too. i cant wait to try more dishes
Customer service was great! We ordered the sticky noodles with beef, fried rice, orange chicken, and chicken egg rolls — and it did not disappoint! We’re from Chicago and have been searching for a good Chinese spot for a while, and this one definitely hit the mark. Although the portions are on the smaller side and prices are a bit higher, the food was really good and worth it.

I stopped here for lunch today (a random Wednesday) at close to 13:00. There were a couple other diners in the restaurant but it was otherwise quiet. I was seated immediately by a friendly older gentleman and asked what I’d like to drink. I looked over the expansive menu and eventually settled on an order of vegetable spring rolls and sesame chicken over rice (a smaller lunch portion of their sesame chicken dish). I had bookmarked this spot in Google Maps after seeing a reel on social media of a group of locals who came in and enjoyed their visit and positively raved about the food. I had high hopes for this place. For the most part I wasn’t disappointed. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The spring rolls were crispy and the veggies inside were well cooked and didn’t turn to mush! The sesame chicken came out second. I wasn’t super impressed with the sesame chicken though it was well cooked, well sauced, and served with a hearty portion of white rice. The sesame chicken was crispy but the sauce was very thick and despite looking gorgeous in its presentation it really didn’t have a ton of flavor. The video review I watched talked about the hand pulled noodles and other dishes on the menu. I’ll be back to try those items and update this review. Overall I enjoyed my experience, the service and food at Uncle Zhou.

I live just a short walk away from Uncle Zhou’s restaurant, and I’ve been wanting to give them a better rating. However, I’ve had a few disappointing experiences with my orders.
The staff is generally friendly and attentive, but I haven’t found the dishes that I enjoy.
