My husband came home with 3 breakfast burritos from his place and OMG! some of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time. I highly recommend! They are BIG so you've been warned.

Super disappointed. We were trying this place for the first time. It looks super cute on the outside and even the inside looked cute. We ordered our food, and within 5 minutes our food was at our table. The food looked good and smelled good. I ordered the carne asada fries, chips and salsa, and my husband got some crispy tacos. The chips and salsa was great...but that was it. My food came out cold...like it had been sitting out on the table all day..like they didn't even attempt to warm it up. The fries were cold and the meat was cold..also the meat was bland. I waited at the front counter for about 5 minutes while people in the back kept looking at me, but no one would come to the counter to address me...finally someone walked out and I tried to speak to her but she just quickly rushed passed me and back into the kitchen...we finally gave up and just left...a waste of $40. Obviously we won't be coming back. it's a bummer, because it looked like such a cute taco place, but I don't want to get food poisoning from cold leftover meat...and we both found hair in our food.

We came during the lunch rush and ordered at the counter. I got the burger burrito and my friend got that quesadilla. For both the cheese was not melted at all and it was bland. Not worth the price of the food. This was back in Feb 2023 so I'm not sure if it got better but I won't be back

Hard pass waste of money. This place is ass! Got the order wrong twice on the same visit! Rice bowl is just a tin foil cup of beans and microwaved chicken. There is a reason I drive this place and it's always empty.

I'm originally from San Diego and really enjoy Baja style Mexican food. I'm used to a Roberto's on every corner and getting my California burrito whenever I want it. I'm so glad I found Valerie's , now I can have my Baja style Mexican food and my Cali burrito every week. My last order was a surf and turf burrito and it was huge and tasty.

The lady at the front is INSANELY rude. She slammed the lid of the juice jug when we asked to sample it. If I was management, I would seriously consider firing her. As there is multiple reviews complaining about her being insanely rude. She's the first impression to someone coming in for the first time and is making the company look awful. The food came out cold and uncooked. On top of that it didn't even taste good. The drinks were weirdly warm and also tasted bad. It's also uncomfortably quiet in the restaurant. I could not recommend a place to eat less. Absolutely never coming back.

I been here several time. The food was good. Nothing special. The Burrito was big. The chicken chimchaga was disappointed.
I was on my way from Houston to Dallas. I had not had dinner. 9 00pm drive thru, OPEN! Valerie's Taco shop was the high point of my drive. Cheese Enchilada plate- absolutely incredible. Beans & rice, perfect. Definitely recommend. This is really good food!

Overpriced & some of the employees could use an attitude adjustment.The menu is overwhelming and changes every week....tell the drive thru homegirl to be patient while paying customers are trying to order.....Things are added/removed from the menu too frequentlyAnd a container of midsize nachos should not be $15...San Diego Tacos Shop is a much better, consistent, cleaner take on Cali Mexican food.

Th food is absolutely amazing. My favorite are the burritos. I ordered a bean and cheese one and that sucker was huge and so filling. It took me a couple of hours to finish it but it was well worth it. I'm going to try some of the others and I'm confident I will have the same review.

Wow… never coming here again. KATHY your employee took our order last night on 3/15 and was super rude. We arrived half an hour before they closed and you can tell she was not happy of us being there. I get it.. you’re tired and want to get off of work but wow… you never act like that to customers. I always supported Valerie’s taco shop but now we will be taking our business somewhere else. Horrible experience.
