I've been here about 3 times in attempt to find a good dish and let me say I love what they're trying to accomplish but the food isn't flavorful at all. Amazing staff and good energy, the food LOOKS delicious however every time I get a dish I'm let down especially for the price:(

Before tonight, I had never tried the Impossible Burger. And now that I have, I'm not sure I'll ever want to go back. I'm not sure if they are all like this, but the burger I had at Viridescent Kitchen was remarkable. This is saying a lot, coming from a pretty traditional "meat and potatoes" kind of person. The environment is super bright and cheery and makes you feel a boost of energy when you walk through the door. You order at the counter from a modest menu of all healthy, plant based options, then take a table number and find a place to sit. Seating is plentiful and it didn't take too long (maybe 10 minutes) for our food to be cooked and brought to us. I opted for the hibiscus juice-which was also a wonderful choice. It was just sweet enough-without being overpowering. Along with the burger, I was served with slices of carrots and a beautiful and tasty hummus. At the end of the meal, there are stations to dispose of your food and return your dishes (no disposable containers are used-so you scrape your food and stack dirty dishes in a bin.) While I absolutely love and support the idea of reducing waste, it did cause a little bottleneck at the exit of people waiting to properly clear and stack their dirty dishes. Aside from that, everything was fantastic and I look forward to returning soon.

It's so hard to find a vegan place with a diverse menu and food you actually want to eat. Viridescent is a one stop shop to grab something to eat, enjoy a vegan latte, and dessert, and to also grab some vegan goodies while you're at it. The shop is really cute and set up in a nice part of Plano. I've been recommending this place to all my vegan friends. The burgers are really good and the hummus is delicious! The buns are so fluffy and tasty that you would never even guess you're in a vegan place.

I ordered the breakfast tacos l. I swapped the fake meat for potatoes and avocado. Because I also wanted to try the biscuit, I ordered that too. Had I been aware that the corn tortillas would be red and served cold, I would have passed on the tacos-or at least asked for them to be heated. Anyways, after the first the taco, I decided to dump the contents of the other two tacos along with the salsa on top of the biscuit because one bite of that biscuit made my day. The combination was glorious. My suggestions : If you're a tortilla snob, I suggest you ditch them and get a biscuit--get TWO! Personally, I think this should be added to the menu. Also, if you have ever had real home-made gravy (comes with the biscuit ya'll) , you might want to skip that too. Order the lavender matcha with oat milk. It's dreamy and yummy. And yes I will be back.

OMG! A totally vegan restaurant! I'm so happy there is such a place in the Plano Frisco area. We went for brunch today. Wonderful selection. Great food. We will be back!

Great vegan food and nice staff. I was pleasantly surprised. My friend had one of the bowls and loved it and I had a salad with roasted chickpeas and a tasty ranch dressing that I thought about later. Who thinks about salad later!? We shared also the nachos appetizer, which was SO GOOD and could be a meal all by itself. Going out to eat while on a plant based diet is challenging but I thoroughly enjoyed Viridescent and will definitely be back.

Thank goodness for this place! It's a challenge to find tasty vegan places here. I moved to TX as a vegan and then gave up my healthy ways because vegan/veggie options were very limited 3yrs ago. Love the menu options here at Viridescent Kitchen. I had a beyond texmex burger w/ gluten free bun and a side of mac-in-cheese. I cleared my plate and bowl. Great flavors, super satisfying and I didn't walk out feeling sluggish and gross! Highly recommend for vegans and meat eaters alike!

Food: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Food: This was my first time trying vegan breakfast and I was pretty impressed. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and overall I was satisfied. The only issue is that the food wasn't very warm and after sending it back, it still wasn't warm; that might be the Norm for vegan breakfast but I like my food hot. They have a mini "PLANT BASED GROCERY" which was super cute and everything I tried was a win! The chai tea latte was also awesome! Atmosphere: Cute, quaint little eatery. It has enough seating for maybe up to 40 people. The vibes are very bright and fresh. Great service!

Food was not that great. I ordered the Beyond Meat sandwich and it was nothing out of the world to be paying $16. The side of humus was barely a spoonful or two. My kids didn't like the Mac N Cheese at all a tad bit here. They love the one at Spiral Diner. IMHO this place is overrated and overpriced. There are better vegan restaurants for sure.

I had the street tacos that came with a salad. Very delicious! The ranch dressing was so good. I wish they sold it. The staff was very friendly.

We arrived to an empty restaurant. So we were served and seated ourselves promptly. The restaurant itself is clean and well kept. They have many different vegan products for sale. Both of us ordered burgers with black bean patties when they were done we were informed they had been mistakenly made with impossible meat pattiEs but we took them anyway. The food arrived as the burger and a pile of carrots with some hummus. While everything tasted goood I was not happy with the value of food we received versus the cost, which was a lot.

Best vegan restaurant in Plano! Probably best vegan restaurant in Frisco! This restaurant is at SE corner of 121/Dallas N. Tollway. The food is delicious and savory, I wanted seconds. I also had their vegan brownies and OMG so good, they have lots of vegan deserts!!! They also have a wonderful selection of vegan snacks and treat.
