I had an amazing experience at West African Way! The food is absolutely delicious and full of bold, authentic West African flavors. I tried the tchiep ( Senegalese jollof rice) with grilled chicken and fried plantains, and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. You can tell the dishes are made with love and pride.
The staff and chef Souleyman are very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels just like home — warm, vibrant, and full of culture....

Was very delicious! Shared egusi with my boyfriend and it was just enough for us both. Food took a bit long to come out but it was worth the wait. Food was well spiced and authentic and we’ll probably come back again :)
But… here’s the thing. Online, it says you open at 12:30. I got there a little bit before, just to make sure I didn’t miss the opening. I called — nobody picked up.
At 12:30, the restaurant was open but completely empty. I stepped out and waited. A lady came in and sat at the front desk. I went back, but this time the...
