Everything was delicious! I didn’t know this place existed. I went a few weeks ago and tried the 3-piece wings with okra. The best okra I’ve had around — hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The wings were good, but nothing to write home about. I would’ve preferred them to be crispier. A week later, I tried the gizzards and ordered more okra. Delicious.
Been eating here since their prior locations, I personally feel the taste at Chicago chicken coop location was the best, but it’s still delicious. No dine-in so I plan around that and eat at a nearby park. I definitely recommend. A heads up with the location, the door dashers and uber eats drivers have no respect and don’t pay attention when they drive up. Be aware when you get out of your car, opening your door and what not.
So thankful they’re back up and running—I’ve been craving some of that delicious chicken!
It took me a little while to figure out how to place my order online, and thankfully someone was at the location to help me figure out how get my food from the box.
I’m not too fond of the new setup and location —I really miss sitting in the restaurant and chatting with the lovely owners from time to time.
