For St. Patrick’s weekend me and my buddy headed to Legacy West. We decided on Whisky Moons, a bar located in the Renaissance hotel. It’s actually a nice open space with rustic, modern decor including spurs on the ceiling.I ordered plain wings with coconut rum and coke. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and mocktail. It was light fare compared to what we normally order but decent.The bar was not terribly busy and yet the service was severely lacking. There was no smile offered from the bartender and definitely no urgency with taking our order. At one point I’d shared someone had shattered their drink which needed to be cleaned before others slipped and possibly injured themselves. There seemed to be no urgency in this matter either. It was concerning.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this venue.

18 bucks a drink!! If you can get past the pricey food and drinks in a hotel lobby, the atmosphere was exceptional. Especially for a quick meet and greet. Weather it was 2 or 10, it looks like you would be very comfortable here. Even had the games playing on several monitors.

Whiskey Moon Legacy West at the Renaissance Hotel in Plano is an exceptional dining experience. The salmon tacos were divine, with perfectly seasoned and cooked fish that just melted in the mouth. The brisket flatbread was another standout, rich and flavorful. Their wine selection is top-notch, offering a variety that suits all palates, from the casual wine drinker to the seasoned connoisseur. The waitresses were amazing – attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, which greatly enhanced the overall dining experience. The ambiance is beautiful, with a decor that is both elegant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening, a business dinner, or a special occasion with friends. I can't recommend Whiskey Moon Legacy West highly enough – it’s a Plano gem that should not be missed!

I was waiting over 30 minutes to even get an order in. I have asked two different servers when you can please get our order when you can. Yet they kept serving others first. I have been here multiple times with work colleagues with no problems but the one time I come here with my Hispanic family we get completely ignored. The bar was not busy by any means, nor were they short staffed. Yet when a couple or group that were Caucasian get treated immediately and with better respect it’s hard not to notice discrimination. For example a bartender even said to us that “this group is of more priority than us” I say that’s a sign of disrespect. It’s not like we can’t afford the drinks or food there but we were completely disregarded. Honestly more disappointed than angry, hope some manager reads this and trains their employees correctly.
