Was looking for an authentic Texas bbq place and I found it here at Willie Meshack's BBQ! Delicious food and I'm ready for a second visit before I leave town. They have lots of sauces that have great flavor. Nice people, big space for large parties and love that it's been around since 1978. Looked like it is family owned. Tasty food for a great price. Highly recommend it. Don't visit if you are on a diet or a picky eater. Just what I was looking for! The brisket was soft and flavorful and you can put your own sauce or not.

Best barbeque I've ever had! The sauces are amazing! You get lots of meat. The sides taste sooo good!! The lady checked all her ingredients to make sure they were gluten free for us. She was so nice to us. We live out of state. I might be willing to make a trip to Plano just for the barbeque!! It cost about $20 a person which is a bit high for us. But all meat is expensive. And you definitely get plenty of it!!!
Dietary restrictions: We have a gluten and dairy free son. He had a lot of choices which is rare for restaurants.

Totally unimpressed. Sold out 4 hours prior to your sceduled closing time. I called a half hour earlier before we started the trip across town inquiring about dessert, seems you could have mentioned you were sold out.
