This place surprised me. The food was great. Lots of choices. But, you have to ask if you really like spicey. The service was good. Don't let the store front throw you off.

Delicious authentic Chinese food! The staff was friendly and the food came out quick. There was a bit of a wait because it was so busy which is a testimony to how good the food is. Definitely worth a visit!

This place gives that local, asian restaurant feel with an amazing variety of options for good prices! I'm never scared to try something new, because I know that the food is always great. I always leave feeling satisfied. My favorites are their soup dumplings and any of the stir fry dishes. Go ahead and give this place a try!

Pretty good Chinese food in Plano Texas. I was there visiting family and ordered take out from them twice. I liked their beef noodle soups and cucumber salad. Their pot stickers are pretty good too. Also, being Chinese, I like them separated their menu into different sections, traditional authentic Chinese dishes, and Americanized Chinese dishes. That way it is clear and different people can get exactly what they want. I wish more restaurants would do that!!

I struggle between giving this place 3 or 4 stars but ultimately gave it a 3. My main issue is that they need more servers and better AC. Came in on a Saturday at 6 and barely beat the line out the door. There is a fairly large dining room yet only 2 women taking orders. We waited about 10 minutes to get our order taken even though we were ready to get our order taken once we sat down since we looked at the menu ahead of time. Then when we finished, we spent about 15 minutes trying to flag the women down but they were so busy with other tables. My husband eventually walked directly up to them to ask while they were at the cashier and they said they'd bring us the bill. In addition, we sweated throughout our dinner because we sat near a window with lots of light and heat coming in. It was uncomfortable eating to say the least! When it comes to the food, we really enjoyed the dan dan noodles with pork and the beef noodle soup. The pan fried pork buns didn't have much soup in them and the fried rice was just ok. I would def return for the dan dan noodles if it wasn't busy and not a hot day. When we finished there were at least 5-6 parties waiting for a table and it made me realize as good as the food was, it's not worth the wait considering the AC issue and slow service.

First visit here. We were there around 1pm. It's so crowded at the restaurant. Not much spaces in the waiting area. Been waiting for 30-40 mins. Once we got to ordered food, it didn't take long to get all the food. All foods were delicious.!!! I'm obsessed with spicy wonton. The chili soy sauce has a garlicky flavor. Yummy.!! Both noodles in wonton soup and braised beef and tendon were perfect. Will try more on the menu next time.

This place is terrible and the staff is rude. They laughed at me after I waited over an hour for dinner.

My family went in last Friday night at 6 pm. The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived. About 5 minutes after being seated, a waitress approached and said "Drink?". This was only our second time here, and we were wondering if the place was BYOB like most of the other strip mall restaurants around here so I asked "Can we BYOB? " I don't think that she understood because she walked away and started cleaning a table. 5 minutes another waitress came by and we ordered waters without bothering to ask any more questions. 10 minutes after that we were able to order appetizers. We ordered the "famous" dumplings. About five minutes after that she returned to take our dinner orders. We ordered three entrees. So here we are. 25 minutes in and we have finally ordered dinner in a far from busy restaurant. About 20 minutes later the dumplings arrive along with two of the entrees. I assumed that my dinner would arrive shortly so we began eating and I was also feeding my 1 year old. Side note - our waters had been empty for about 10 minutes at this point. 15 minutes later I flag someone down and ask for water and if my entrée is coming. Our waitress approaches a few minutes later and asks what the problem is. I tell her that I never got my entrée. She goes back and checks our order and then returns and tells me Two Minutes! About 15 minutes later she is walking by our table when I stop her and ask for the check. She brings it over and I point out that my entrée is on it and she looks confused and begins to run back to the kitchen. I stop her and tell her not to worry about it, I'm over it. She takes the check and returns and begins to tell us that the kitchen is just too busy with to-go orders and she took the meal off of the ticket. No apologies, just the excuse that every other dinner was more important than mine. I sarcastically thank her for removing the meal that I never got from the ticket and she starts laughing at me. I had been cool the whole time but that set me off! Needles to say (but I will) I am never going back to this place. The food is decent at best and there are dozens of places with better dumplings. The staff is rude and the place feels a little dirty.

One big take away from our recent trip to Dallas is how prominent and prolific the Asian community is in North Dallas. The Asian shopping centers and abundance of retail, rivals the Bay Area. Everything from Boba tea shops to Karaoke to the new wave of dumpling restaurants. Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine menu is definitely a copy of Ding Tai Fung. Apparently, this is a multiple location outlet. Wu Wei Din is very busy during the Sunday brunch hours. Located next to an auto parts store in Plano. We ordered the following: Fried pork chop 5 stars Taiwanese style battered and peppery. Sauteed Water spinach with garlic 4.5 stars large portions Minced pork noodles 5 stars Taiwanese style Jajaing Mian XLB 4 stars six small XLB'S could have been presented better, randomly arranged in the bamboo steamer. Spicy Wontons 3 stars the thick skin wontons were just ok. The spicy sauce is bland. Busy restaurant, lots of staff, decent service. Plenty of parking.

While we like their food, they have a horrible pickup system. Our doordash order was picked up by someone else, which is something the restaurant is expected to ensure DOESN'T happen. When I called them, they insisted that they will NOT make the order again even when they had the dasher waiting for picking up our food. The dasher seemed to be equally surprised on how the restaurant was trying to save a few bucks at the expense of a driver who made an effort to pick up the food and a customer who likely doesn't have any other option but to order fast food given the time of the day. Deeply disappointmented in how the management handles delivery orders. Hopefully we will have a better experience when we dine in again.

My best friend found this place by accident and her family raves about it; so naturally she had to bring me too! We went for lunch today. This place was very good. We legit ordered enough for a party of 10; but it was all worth it. I didn't get pictures of everything but here's my rating.... Crab Rangoon, tasty the kids ate two orders. The cucumbers, AMAZING, we also got two orders of that. The preserved egg with tofu... the eggs were good; tofu how it was prepared.... Wasn't a fan of. The salt and pepper shrimp.... I've had it several ways this was pretty darn amazing. The Mongolian beef, AMAZING... I would get extra beef. The orange chicken, I normally don't like fried stir fried dishes, but this was good, the kids tore it up. The pan fried pork buns... was probably my least favorite of everything. The spicy wonton dumplings, tasty.... A little too much ginger for my liking. The soup dumplings, very delicious; we ordered the pork and then the shrimp and pork. The taro fried dessert was delicious; and the iced green matcha tea.... AMAZING! I will definitely have to bring my uncle here when we comes to town. The food was great. Super small spot; but definitely worth the drive and wait. Price point is great too for the portions. This was a great find.

Been here a few times. Food is always super good. This place probably has the best wontons in the North Texas / Plano area. Staff speaks English & Mandarin. Probably our Go-To place for Asian food.

For DFW this place is 5 stars. For Nor Cal it would be about 4 stars. Went here looking for the Xia Long Bao and some panfried dumplings. Had: Pork Xia Long Bao: it was good, thin skinned, with a nice amount of soup, my two complaints are: they had too much sesame oil in the filling. It was bitter. And the pork itself wasn't silky: I think it was too lean. 4 stars Panfried Shimp and Leek Potstickers: these were good, I love the thin skin. The filling wasn't as flavorful as I wanted though. 3 stars Spicy Pork and Shrimp Dumplings: HOME RUN! Yes, the pork was a little lean but the entire filling was perfect. Will be back for these alone! 5 stars. Sesame Balls: Excellent. So it's really 4 stars but because it's authentic Taiwanese food in DFW I have it an extra star.

This restaurant merged with the Bubble tea next door during Covid, so you can also get really yummy drinks as well. The main purpose of this visit was to try the Xiao long bao since this was recommended! It did not disappoint! The soup was flavorful and the skin was nice and thin. The filling was a bit dry, but overall was a very yummy bite! We also got some of the rice bowls and the dan dan noodles. Dan dan noodles were amazing and I love the peanut sauce it came with. The fried rice was amazing but I thought the meat was dry (braised pork belly and Taiwanese pork chop). Oh and for appetizer we got the scallion pancake and it was so good! I also got plum juice and it was so good that me and a friend each got another to take home.

PHENOMENAL! I had given up on finding good Chinese food because I haven't much luck in the past. However one day I woke up and I couldn't beat the cravings so I set out to find a restaurant that would fill the void. I found this restaurant through Yelp of course and the reviews sold me. My family and I went on a Friday night and we only had two parties ahead of us and got sat in 10 minutes. I love cucumbers so of course I had to try the cucumber salad and I wasn't disappointed - we also got the spicy pork wontons and those were my favorite wontons I've had. For main dishes we got the orange chicken and the Braised beef noodle soup: AMAZING! The braised beef noodle soup was so comforting and tasted homemade in the best way; like a hug in a bowl. The food is also good for sharing since the portions are decent. I also ordered some boba tea because I love milk tea and that was also really good. I look forward to my next visit here
