Kindly enhance the rice quantity in online orders, as there seems to be a shortage; your understanding is appreciated.

i was introduced to this place by my cousin as it is near her home and we wanted a quick bite other than fast food. my cousin mentioned that this place had a happy hour after 10pm so i figured to give it a try. Food was decent, nothing to go crazy about but, for the happy hour price—it was a good deal. service was below average. drinks where never refilled and we where checked on maybe 1 time throughout the entire time of dining. My tab came out to $70 as i covered my cousin and i. I tipped $7 because, the service wasn’t very great and food was average. While finishing my drink, the waiter comes up to me and rudely ask “um can i ask why you tip $7 when that’s under 18%” in a very rude and entitled way. i was completely baffled by the rudeness. i’d understand if she where genuinely concern regarding her service and wanted to know. But it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Her tone of voice, verbiage, and body language was not at all of a person who was concerned. my cousin and i are still not able to fathom this entitlement. she was asian lady mid age, short hair and glasses. will not be returning here.

Great sushi, great atmosphere, great 10pm-2am happy hour. My most recent service wasn't great, but it was probably a bad day. Definitely would recommend a visit.

Would eat here every sunday for takeout and they did offer the 50% off rolls. Just bought today and they treated my sister so disrespectful and told her the 50% off was only to eat in. When she asked when did it change they told her its always been like that and that she was asking too many questions when we have been buying from here for almost 2 years straight. Not eating here anymore.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining here that left me utterly disappointed and disgusted. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this establishment was far from meeting basic hygiene standards and providing satisfactory customer service.First and foremost, the waitress, an older lady, displayed an appalling level of rudeness throughout our entire visit. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and she seemed disinterested in assisting us. It was evident that she lacked the basic skills necessary to provide a pleasant dining experience. To make matters worse, one of my friends discovered a hair in her broccoli and beef plate. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the waitress took a defensive stance and questioned my friend, even going so far as to accuse her of planting the hair herself. This response was not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive. What further alarmed us was the lack of proper hygiene practices in the restaurant's sushi bar. The staff working behind the bar did not wear gloves or hair nets, which is a clear violation of basic food safety regulations. Witnessing this negligence made us question the overall cleanliness and quality of the food being prepared. The moment we noticed these issues, we immediately lost our appetite and decided to stop eating. The combination of the rude waitress, the hair incident, and the lack of hygiene practices left us feeling disgusted and deeply unsatisfied with our dining experience. It is truly disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction in a restaurant. I strongly advise potential diners to steer clear of this sushi establishment until they address these serious concerns and make significant improvements to their service and hygiene practices.

A great place for family or friend gathering! Every dish was so flavorful and tasty. You pretty much can just order off my photos. These are authentic Taiwanese cuisine that you won’t find in any other restaurant in DFW area. Definitely worth of 50 minutes drive to dine here.

Don’t ask for hot sauce. It is the first time that a restaurant charge for hot sauce, though only 0.50$…. The waitress was very nice. Food is good. I gave ONE star for this charge of hot sauce and the customers are not informed.

Food was good, but customer service was not good. The waiters were often very rude and I had issues with us asking for a side of spicy mayo to take home with us like in a little tiny cup, so and also we asked for gizzards, and then, within 10 seconds, went and told them, we didn’t want the gizzards anymore and the guy was visibly pissed. Customer service isn’t a priority here but I do commend them on the food

Slow service. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my online takeout order. Several people waited for their orders and told they were not ready, when in fact their orders were sitting on the counter getting cold. 1st impressions not good, but I'm sure they don't care.

Sushi Yama Legacy hands down has been and will continue be one of my absolute favorite place to visit for authentic Japanese/Taiwan cuisine of all time. This place can be crowded at times during late hours because not a lot of Asian restaurants around Plano area opens pass midnight, so if you’re craving for some Asian food late at night, this will definitely be the place to go. Despite being crowded and busy at times, the staffs are really on top of their games to get you seated as soon as possible. If you have never been there before, you must give it a shot, stop by if you’re ever in town, I'm sure you won’t regret it!

Come here for the Taiwanese food not the sushi.Tomato and egg is the best I've had in dfw. The eggs are silky and has a saucy flavorful tomato sauce.Any protein with the three pot or salt and pepper is delicious but especially recommend the three pot squid and salt and pepper tofu. The tofu is crunchy on the outside and silky inside. It comes with well pickled daikon and carrots.
