I left after finishing my $10 bowl and one of the workers ran out while I was getting into the car asking for a better tip. Running out the shop to chase someone down for more tip is insane. Go to carrolton instead!

Food is okay, but the lady who served us was very rude and demanded us for tips. Will never go back, do not recommend.

This was my 2nd time coming, and will never be coming back again. Came with a group of friends for lunch and we all paid on individual bills, and all had the experience of being DEMANDED to add a tip by the main female waitress.
Most of us in the group already gave at least 15% or more, but she came back to our table to demand for more tip from one of us who she originally forgot to get a signed receipt from.
She pleaded for more than 5 minutes and was trying to guilt trip everyone in the group by explaining that the workers here “live only off of tips” and needed to provide for her family. There are federal labor laws that prevent workers in food industry from making absolutely $0 like she was making it sound.
I’m not sure if this place rebranded and replaced management recently since it is now called Hot Pot Fairy instead of Yin Tang. MANAGEMENT: Please either pay your employees more, or raise your prices. This waitress was claiming that management takes all the money profited, and this is why she needs to demand for tips.
Either something illegal is going on here or this waitress needs to be reprimanded for her inappropriate behavior.

For context, my family always tip between 10-20% depending on the service we receive, however, this was a self serve and to CHASE my wife down and ask for four more dollars is ridiculous. Something needs to change, pay your staff.
Food was okay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the most surprising and delicious soups I’ve ever had
This restaurant has a very interesting concept. You walk in, pick the ingredients you like, place them on a tray, and the chefs take your selection to the kitchen and prepare a fresh soup based on exactly what you chose. It feels personalized, and the whole process makes the experience unique and fun.
What truly amazed me was the taste. It turned out to be one of the most delicious soups I have ever eaten. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the broth was rich, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food and a creative dining experience.

Amazing in everywhere! Staff were helpful, food was fresh, everything clean & organized. For about $14 per pound, this was a steal & an amazing place to have a date!

bad tip behavior
It is not worth it, I spent almost $30USD for some frozen food. The waiter and waitress are so fake, want us to tip although they didn’t do much. I feel like the scale is not right. The amount I spent can get myself a nice steak…

Restaurantji Recommends
Although the food and atmosphere is good, the behavior and attitude of the stingy female waitress is completely unacceptable and outrageous. Being a regular at this restaurant, I always tip around 15% for lunch and 18-20% for dinner; despite this however, the female waitress makes a point to treat me with an unpleasant attitude and ask me to give higher tips. On one occasion, after bringing my friend to this restaurant, and ordering a nearly $60 bill AND already giving around 12.5% tips, she had the audacity to come to us and beg us for a larger tip. A tip is EARNED, not demanded.

Not sure if they increased the prices but we used to come here because it was cheaper than the other location and they had a bigger selection. We went yesterday and I got the same amount I used to get and we pay 74 dlls for two people. This is very expensive for what you get. The waiter was very friendly but still not worth it taking into consideration the price.
Fine but not an official location for the yin tang brand, leading to them cutting corners with the broth.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The spice levels are higher than most (medium is spicy for example), but I love the experience.

Food was alright but the one star goes to the staff members who were begging for a higher tip at the end, despite already including a fair tip. Completely unprofessional and bad practice.
