Zalat is my go to pizza place around DFW, you really can’t beat their ingredients and combos. It’s a little pricier than the big chains but honestly not that much, and you’re supporting a local business that uses great ingredients!

Ordered to be ready at 5:00, wasn't ready until 5:13. Waiting area no bigger than a small elevator, or 4 people. Pizza was slightly overcooked. But will try again, maybe they just had all the rookies working tonight.
Pizza is simply, GOOD. Aaaaaand The siracha sauce..like liquid crank!

I’ll preface that the staff were courteous and the order was on time. But, both pizzas and the garlic bread appetizer looked and tasted as if they had been over cooked/started to burn. The sauce was very, very thin. It was closer to cheese and toppings on top of just the crust, which was made worse by the crust tasting close to overcooked/burnt. Lastly, the crust ring around the pizza itself was close to 2”. When 1/4+ of each slice of pizza is that much crust, which is also burnt tasting, it leaves you with a bad impression. We threw out anything that was leftover vs trying to keep it. We have ordered from Zalats before and had great and tasty pizzas but this was just not hitting the mark for us and we likely won’t return any time soon.
